I think that white meat is better to our health, but I can't resist a red meat when it's front of me either.

Hi. shireenrjn. I am not so sure of this answer here. I think that both of these type of meats are excellent in nutrition. Beef provides iron while white chicken provides protein. I believe that the both of them are very nutritious to eat. I am not still sure which one is more easier to digest than the other.

I think the amount of proteins are pretty much equal in both type of meats, so, that's not a reason to eat more one than the other. Red meat have more iron and vitamin B12 than white meat, but white meat, like fish, have less bad fats and more good fats.

Hi, shireenrjn, you are right in hearing that red meat has more calories than chicken, but i don't think that red meat is easier to digest. Chicken is more easier to digest. You can eat chicken four to five times a month, but there is a limitation in eating red meat since over eating is not good for health. You can have red meat two times a month. So, for your heart you can give favor to chicken first, moreover it is much cheaper than red meat or mutton.

Two times per month only? I thought that you could eat red meat at least two times per week! :)

I don't know for sure, but I don't think that red meat is easier to digest than white meat. Mostly, because red meat usually have more fat than white meat, so, for this reason red meat would be harder to digest. For me, white meat is a lot better to the health. They have less bad fat and fishes, like salmon, have Omega 3, that's very important to the organism.

White meat for me is better for now since I'm living in a dorm. But that is not really the real reason. I prefer white meat because it has more protein and I am really conscious about my food intake nowadays because sometimes, I don't have the prescribed healthy food 'plate'. I really crave for vegetables and fruits most of the times.

I heard that white meats like fish, chicken etc. are better than the red meats like beef, port and so on. Perhaps the red meats have higher calories and fats and therefore it is not good for the health. I think the best meat may be fish. I love China
