This was the worst ice hockey world championship for my country team. We finished 13. That's bad, really, really bad!
How this happened when our team have ore than half of players from second strongest world ice hockey leagues - KHL (Continental hockey league)?
Well, after two very hard, but interesting and great games against our group leaders Czechs and Finns team lost to the only opponent in our group which they must have to win, but they lost, and did it without any doubts about bad luck etc., bla, bla, bla.
Ok, we survived and our team thanks to two wins against Austria and Belorussia finished right in the top 14 teams who will continue to play against each-other next year, but still my disappointment is high.

Well, as you might already know, Canada lost to Russia again yesterday. Ilya Kovalchuk really is a sniper, and has sent Canada home packing again.
Some may say that the reason US and Canada got eliminated early is because their best players are still playing in the NHL playoffs.
But cheers to Russia and making it!

I don't think that the best players still playing in NHL because each year there is a new Stanley cup winner so that's not true that the best players are there - the best teams are! Also many European players are still in NHL play-offs like brothers Sedins from Sweden in Vancouver team.
yes and i just watched how Finland destroyed Russia 3:0. It will be awesome Scandinavian final this year - Sweden vs Finland!

Yes, i seen all my country team games and i am watching every day other team games on internet. I must say that i already cant wait to Canada - Russia game today!
