What is your favoorite charity?

Elizabeth Taylor was very into the AIDS Foundation and even started one of her own. Mine would be The Cancer Society and The Humane Society. What is yours? and why?

Good morning, my fave is St. Judes.I love children & have a really soft spot for all the good they do at st. judes.

I like the Cancer Society and the Humane Society too. I like the one that antiquelady mentioned as well...St Judes. I try to support the firefighters and the rescue squad in my area too. They have a fundraiser once a year and I always try to give something.

The rescue squad and firefighters are a good one. We have a lot of firefighters up this way. Every year there seems to be alot of fires.

Hi there, i don't think the word 'favourite' suits charity. I don't pick and choose charities. I try to help people in need whenver and wherever i can. Recently me and my hubby, we donated to the Red Cross society for Tsunami in japan. I donated clothes to Make a wish foundation. We sponsor a child in South America and fund his studies through World Vision Australia. So, there is not a single charity that i favour. I like to take the opportunity as it comes across me!

I am sorry to hear that my wording affended you. I used it because I felt we all have ones we donate to for reasons all our own. Favorite because we have reasons we like to use them. Favorite because we are invested, we are interested in animals or certain diseases and want to help those out of personal reasons or goodness.
