My star rating when down and I know why.

Funny... I know whenever I post about how "God' most likely does not exist, and about how organized Religions are scams and manipulation tools, my star rating goes down... ;D

This happened to you too? Probably at the same time as it happened to me. My star rating fell eleven points in less that half an hour yesterday after responding to your topic which I found acceptable as a first attempt. I remember commenting favourably on your discussion too. I feel we have both been targeted. Unfairly so at that. It doesn't bother me if my rating falls & I can see why it happened, but these cowards should not be permitted to get away with this sort of behavior without posting why. Other forums will not let members vote positive or negative ratings without giving a reason why. The ratings should be monitored by moderators & assessed if they are legitimate or not. It doesn't stand up as constructive criticism to me. So it will be a "business as usual" approach from me. I'll just keep responding as I have been & see what happens. I'm sure there are ways of finding out who or which group was responsible for this & it will be only a matter of time before the hunters become the hunted.

You know sometimes some people are mean and they rate the posts negative for fun on purpose. So you don't have to mind it so much. After I finish my this response, I will rate your discussion positive:) I love China

Hi. TazRes. That is very sad! I enjoy reading devotions from the Bible. As a matter of fact, I read verses for everyday out of this year in a Devotional Bible that I have at home right now. It gives me the great positive insight on how I should view life and how I should conduct myself as a Christian in today's world. If someone rated you negatively, then shame on them. Let them deal with their inner demons, God knows all about them. I have had a blue star rating for almost two years myself and for the past two years now, my star has never turned back to being blue. If I can get many ratings, it will go back to being blue. It makes me just wonder, whom all is really rating me on myLot, because it should not have taken this long for my star to turn back to blue. That does not make any sense. You just keep on posting about the Word Of God. Many people will not be down with it, well, don't be surprised, because that is exactly how they have treated Jesus when he was here on Earth many centuries ago. Continue to do the Will Of God and don't let anyone stop you even if they rate you negative.

Its awful. Thinking people doesn't want to discuss topic about God. Its Jesus weeping because His creation (people) are no longer starving for His word...Humanity is leading their way to darkness...to hell...we must pray for these people blinded from truth..what's the real living is all about!

Keep up the good work! Funny thing about free speech is we have to let everyone have to keep it ourselves. Sure, atheists get neg ratings too. So let's ALL join in the abuse of the rating system just cause others do? Maybe if those atheists who get bashed would defend a person's right to post their beliefs even if they disagreed with them, we could stop this juvenille bashing of members star ratings. If you want the freedom to disagree you have to defend the same right for the person you disagree with, don't you think?

My response to this isn't really a discussion on my beliefs on god, but i do have something to say. I think it is very sad that someone is going to vote on if they agree with your beliefs or not, I am a strong believer in jesus but I don't go around rating people on their beliefs. I think the ratings are put here to say how well the post written and the strength of the discussion. I don't really give people bad ratings but if I was too it would be because they were completely rude, off grammer, or off discussion, not because I can't accept that other people have different beliefs. Thats just my opinion.
