The Prince & Me review

The story of "The Prince and Me" is inspired by the true story of love between Prince Frederik (later King of Denmark) and his wife, Mary Davidson Australian. It is not blue blood, but comes from an absolutely normal family, of Scottish origin: a mathematician father, her mother and she worked for the University of Tazmania. Frederik and Mary met in 2000 at Sydney, where Frederick was part of the Danish team iachting. The film itself is full of inaccuracies, which made racing cars at the beginning of the film numbers are not Danish, you'll never see racing cars with traffic stopped in the middle of Copenhagen, uniforms were totally wrong, queen and prince consort are not parasites to stop traffic and, especially, carriage is used only at weddings. Royal family is not involved in government, crown prince did not participate in negotiations or meetings of parliament, nay, more, because Mary was not of royal blood, the parliament was one that I had to "give permission" to Frederick's marry her. Frederik had a rebellious life to say, with some smaller or bigger scandals, but a man with his head between his shoulders, and married Mary brought down to earth. Regina is an absolutely pleasant woman, very direct and very nice, not bad woman portrayed in the first film, Mary was accepted even easier. Frederik has a brother, a little smaller, not a sister, and is named Harald Norwegian and not Danish. Same Arabela. Although "The Prince and Me" was based on the fascination Americans vis-à-vis the European royal families, I went to my soul, in spite of inaccuracies (I'm stepping on my nerves bad broadcast presentation Prague to Copenhagen, especially as the last one I know very well), Luke Mably and Julia Stiles played well, and the attraction of them made the film even more beautiful. Julia Stiles has class and two were chosen very well, are very close to the true temperament of the royal family. The movie is a masterpiece.

My little sister absolutely loves this film! There is a second movie, but weirdly it's a different actress that plays Peggy. I've seen most of the second one, which was okay, but not fabulous, but I haven't seen the first one. I quite like Julia Stiles as an actress though; she was good in both Save the Last Dance, and even better in 10 things I hate about you with Heath Ledger (definitely worth a watch, good soundtrack too). I may just have to watch the first part :)

The last time I saw this story,I didn`t see the ending of it.I hope there is a part two of The prince and me to see the happy ending of the story but then again I doubt it.This is so long ago.If the director is really interested to have a part two of this story,then he should have done it a long time ago.

hi dellahappy!! Well all love stories are always interesting. Some people don't know about love so the don't like love stories and all the people who in love,they are Prince and Princess. Well me not find my love yet but i think me find it. So i am not in love so don't know much about love but i like love stories. Most love stories like,The Prince and Princess,Romeo and Julie i like it more because there is always a awesome things in that stories. Your story is really interesting and i like it more.
