Laptops for graphic design/architecture/CAD

Hi people I am a design/architecture student and I am thinking of buying a new laptop to replace my old Acer, which lasted me 3 years already. This baby is dying soon I can tell. I was wondering if anyone here can recommend a few good laptops for graphic design works. I tend to use design programmes and have other programmes running in the background. An example would be running firefox in the background, listening to some music and doing my photo editing on photoshop. Hope you guys can help :)
