Nowadays life is so beyond practicality that a household is really not complete without a laptop. Yes, the mini counterpart of the almost forgotten Personal Computer that had different individual parts and is ravaged with wiring. Yes, that one the laptop. Why? I guess because laptop provides numerous functions in a small gadget like gathering information on the internet, communicating to loved-ones and saving your most important data like files, childhood memories, and video of your daughters’ first communion. So as I’ve said a lot nowadays is processed using your laptop and I hope that one day I'll get a new one. Not that I’m totally complaining but since my Inspiron laptop has said goodbye, I have a netbook right now which is versatile but not as functional as a laptop.

We had a desktop computer once but due technical problem the CPU gave up. we bought a laptop and I think laptop is vital because you can always bring it anywhere you want.

Not so vital in fact. Laptops are exactly the same that regular desktop computers, but desktops are far more comfortable and cheap, and since they perform the same functions, I don't see really any difference from both. In favor of laptops, I must say the mobility is great, but only when you really use them. Personally, I prefer desktops whenever possible, as long as I don't need to move the PC around or carry it so somewhere else. I don't think they are so vital because they're laptops themselves, but rather for being computers, the same as desktops.

Almost anything tech is becoming intertwined with our daily lives. I love technology and enjoy using computers (both desk top and laptop). I however try not to get so engrossed that my sight gets blur from endless usage. And, prolonged use of laptops can be a health hazard: Besides burns and etc., laptops on lap can result in infertility in men (or so is it alleged).

I have a laptop and a desktop right now. Sad to say, laptop is not really needed for me because i don't have much use for it. Most of my work requires me to be online, and it's inconvenient to carry a laptop when i can't access the net. I'm better off with my smartphone where i can do what the laptop can't. Laptops are more suited for people constantly on the go, always preparing stuffs for presentation.
