These are one of the most important programs that a computer must possess a super antivirus enough to ward off unwanted parasites that would like to get inside your computer with only 2 things in mind steal information or horrifically destroy everything that you have stored in that small piece of electronic ware. That you might want to do everything in your power just to get it back, but again for a couple of bucks those are things to be worried about of in the past since antivirus is here to protect defend and save you from worms and Trojans from hell. How about you guys? What’s the Antivirus program that you’re using now?

I used in the past AVG, but found that it's too weak and fails to detect many viruses (and found that in the worst way). Then changed to Kaspersky, which is one of the best, but very slow and now I'm wanting to change that. I'm looking for a new one right now, but have to try and test a few against real viruses before deciding.

I'm using a free antivirus by AVG. It's working good for me, because it never fails to detect virus or threats from sites i visited. On top of that, i have a couple of safety measures installed on my desktop, such as spybot. I will make it a point to run them all 2-3 times a week. That's the best way to protect my computer from harm and unnecessary invasion.

I'm currently using a local antivirus, which is quite dependable and has been "protecting" my PC for months... Before that I've tried many antiviruses such as : 1. Avira - unreliable, slow response time, tons of useless updates 2. Avast - always blocking programs, hangs on several computers 3. Kaspersky - great one, but paid antivirus... Well... Anyone has suggestions?...
