I have this very weird "Phobia", I can completely understand people who fear snakes and spiders for they are really scary indeed. But I really don't understand why I am afraid of chickens, specially native chickens and roosters. My friends laugh at me most of the time but I really can't help to be nervous when there's a chicken around. My heart is drumming fast, I can't breathe and I feel like collapsing. How about you, what is your Phobia?

You really got a weird phobia and it's the first time i have heard of someone who is afraid of a native chicken. But i guess, roosters can something to be afraid of, because they can be ferocious as those that are in cockfighting games.
But to share with you, i am phobic with snakes and heights. Snakes scares me a lot, that i don't even want to watch them on TV.
I am also so afraid of heights. When i am in a high rise building, i don't want to look down from where i am. I feel dizzy when i do so , and feels like fainting!

I can stand snakes and heights, but not chickens. I just don't feel like being on a high rise building. My previous office is in the 27th floor and I feel really dizzy, specially when I ride the elevator, probably due to pressure.

I am afraid of cockroaches :p
My mom and my brothers are angry when i started running and screaming when i see a cockroach.
I can't help it,it really gives me creeps :(

That is acceptable, cockroach is very dirty and gives me creeps as well. At least you are a girl, am I right? I have a guy friend who always scream whenever he see a cockroach and it is really funny for me to see a guy who fear cockroach. =)

I'm scared of high places..
But, I think your phobia is really weird and funny and outrageous.. So, uhm, do you eat chicken meat?
I guess it's normal to be afraid to animals but to have a heart drumming around chickens is unusual, honestly. I hope you overcome it.

Haha I think it is outrageous as well. Yes I do eat chickens but I'm just afraid that they will fly at me. Most of the time, I'm nervous when I see a chicken around.

I am afraid / scared / hysteric about cockraoches. I saw the first one on a holiday in Greece, many years ago. I 'met' them again when travelling in Turkey, but I was not afraid until I discovered that they could FLY.
That was it and whenever I found one in my budget hotel room in Tunisia, Indonesia, Turkey my partner had to catch it and scrunch it, but that seemed to be very difficult, almost impossible so he put them outside the room. I covered the toilet, the washbasin and all little holes through which they could invade the room.
I also took care never to stay in a room over a restaurant, because that is exactly what cockroaches love. These days I am no longer staying in budget accommodation, because I have more money to spend and haven't met any cockroaches for quite some time.

Not really a phobia but I'm a bit scared of snakes. Those dark colored snakes. They look gross and really scary.
