Well, by the standard you mentioned, my mom is far from being a tiger mother. She only cares whether i live happily and in a health way. For others, it's my call. My mom could be a tiger mother in appearance but definitely kind inside. Have a nice day yourself.

Hi cjfsunny: In part she can be considered as a tiger mother because with me and my brother and my little sister she want that we get the best grades on our school. She didn't like that we were good. She always told us that she want that we'd be excellent students. In my case take this seriously so it gives me some kind of stress but I was a really good student- I was a nerd actually But in my eldest brother, he doesn't take it so seriously. He was not the kind of boy that likes to study. Even with that her love for us has always been present no matter if we pass or fail. ALVARO

With God's grace, I have a loving and caring mother. Not at all a tiger mother. And thank God for that! LOL My mother understands, guides and motivates us (her children) without getting aggressive about the whole thing. She has faith in God and in her kids. Unlike a tiger mother, my mother has a calm demeanor usually doing her own thing. But she is first to provide support when needed. Am blessed to have such a wonderful mother in my life :)
