First of all let me apologise that I am so far behind replying to my last Discussion I am bad with a severe Lung infection and I am constantly having tests done also had another bad fall ( fell over a Bucket, which is another story lol) so please bear with me Ok as you all know Gissi and I have a little Baby here, who is well to say it nicely a little Pain and need to be taught a lot of Manners, I have been aware by a Friend that Gissi tried to sell Buttons on Skype , now Buttons is a little Pain believe me and I always knew that Gissi was smart but he certainly is smarter then what I thought I have this Dalmatian Rug which a Friend gave to me, well Gissi (as with everything else Gissi claimed it as his) well anyway Buttons has this thing about Gissi's Tail, he likes to swing on it, which of course does not impress Gissi at all, when Gissi is on the Rug and little one wants to get on there Gissi will not let him, I have to be honest I do not get involved in their little ................ should I say Squabbles Well the other Morning Buttons managed to sneak up on Gissi while he was on the Rug and got Gissi's Tail, Gissi was not happy I was in the Bathroom at the time, as I came out the Rug was all over the Place and Gissi just sat there looking at it, well I went up to Gissi and said "Did that Buttons mess up your Rug, he is a naughty Buttons isn't he" Gissi just sat there looking all innocent at me, so I straightened the Rug out for him. I went to find Buttons to see what else he was up to, he was in the Kitchen with my B/F who had come to see us that Day, I told Buttons not to mess the Rug up, well Dave looked at me and burst out laughing, I told him not funny as Gissi was upset, Dave looked at me and smiled, he said "That is my Gissi, he is so smart" I asked him what he meant, he then tells me it was GISSI that had messed up the rug not Buttons , well I went to see Gissi and he had gone to bed, I told him it was not nice to blame Buttons as he gets in enough trouble, I swear Gissi was smiling while wagging his Tail Well does this surprise any of you about my sweet little innocent Gissi? (Not me I guess)

That is not surprising at all. Gissi used to play pranks and tricks on you. Now he is doing it to Buttons. hehehe. I can picture Gissi pretending to be all innocent. And you fell for it!!! He really is too smart. I am not surprised to hear that Gissi has been trying to sell Buttons. I will have to check eBay and see what the current price is at. hehehe

Gissi just quoted me the price of five dog biscuits. Not sure that can be arranged through PayPal, though.

Does not surprise me one bit. My Schatzie does outsmart me sometimes as she blames Honey for every mishap. Gissi and Schatzie have established themselves as the "Head of Household" for their respective homes and sometimes for Schatzie that includes trying to boss me around!

Awww, I feel sorry for Buttons, he is going to get blamed for everything..Gissi should be ashamed of himself, blaming the poor baby.. So, Gissi didn't give you the "Denver" look when you confronted him? He just gave you the "I'm innocent" look..Well, you got your work cut out for you gabs, these two will keep you on your toes..

I was picturing the story as if it was a cartoon! Gissi is a clever one isn’t he? He knows how to get little Buttons into trouble. I could picture him smiling behind your back as you are straightening the rug while claiming it was the little one’s fault! I would love to meet Gissi, he sounds like such a cheeky character!

I am glad that the boyfriend could enlighten you. I am sure Gissi and Buttons keep you busy and entertained most of the time. So which one of them stuck the bucket in your way and made you trip over it? Take care of yourself and follow doctors orders so that you get better.

Hi gabs! So happy to "see you"! Been missing you and the "bad little man" sooooo much! Been going through some "health issues" myself. So far tests are coming back, ok, except for my cholesterol and my doc guessed I've been skipping my meds (because of insurance change). I have no idea how he knew that because I didn't tell him! I hardly eat and don't eat the stuff I shouldn't, but I didn't tell him and he didn't ask-I love my Dr. Friend! (yes, that is his real name!)Gissi is a bad boy! Why can't he accept his new "kitty brother" and understand that he is a baby! He will get better behavior, although gabs, and (don't tell Gissi), some kitties are bad when they grow up~ My last two were full of mischeive until they got sick! And my very first cat Mystique, my friends thought was possessed! And I'm I'm pretty sure they were right!

Hi Opal, Yes, some kitties are bad when they grow up.. .they love getting into mischief and playing with doggy's tails. Hope you get to feeling better and the doc finds out exactly what is wrong there with you. Also hope for Gabs to feel better real soon.

Gissi sounds like he is holding his ground just fine with Buttons..LOL..I'm glad the sale didn't go through. Buttons would not have been very happy then. I would be staying out of their squabbles too. They both seem pretty able to work things out or get each other in trouble one.

Hi sis! Firstly I am sorry you have not felt well and hope that you feel well soon! Secondly you tell my Gissi that, Auntie said hehehe! I could not expect anything less from Gissi. He is testing the new roomie, to see if buttons would squeal and buttons did not squeal so therefore, tell Gissi Buttons is in. Sis take care of yourself and get all testing necessary to assure you can get well.

Oh, Gissi, how lucky you are that you have somebody to blame when things goes wrong! Of course you had a good reason to mess up the rug, but your Mom cannot understand it. I'd like to have somebody to blame, too, when my Mom gets upset because I did something she doesn't like. For instance, yesterday I chewed on a leather glove. It was delicious! I had eaten about half of it when my Mom asked me what I was doing. I tried to tell her that it was somebody else who ate the glove but she didn't believe me. (of course she didn't, who would believe a dog who say that his master chewed a leather glove? ) So she scolded me, telling me that I am free to chew the gloves but I am not supposed to swallow it. Why not? Its taste was good. Have you tried to chew something made of leather? Love, Binne the Airedale

Hi Gabs! I just have my "Little Man" in the house, and he is something else. He has a toy lobster that he loves to kill over and over, and a toy raccoon that he has killed a number of times. I had to take the stuffing out of the raccoon's head because he tore a hole in it to get at the squeaker. Had to take the squeaker out of the head because of that... there are 6 more squeakers in that that he hasn't managed to get yet. He loves to leave his babies all over the floor and we have to step over them... I told him this morning to pick up his babies and put them away... well he looked at me like "you put them away, I just play with them."
