Why Do People Believe that 'Jesus Is Coming Back'? Why Don't They See that He...

... Hasn't Left? It's annoying that people so-focus on 'how Jesus ISN'T here' (poverty, war, scandal, terrorism) that they can't see how He IS! (Love, Mercy, Luck, Acceptance) I would rather be too busy focusing on the good to give the bad stuff any credence! I think I might know why: to take their mind off the cold-hard sinfulness of their daily existence in slavery to The Almighty Dollar. Why else might it be that people deny Jesus' presence here-and-now?

All the Bible's prophecy's were fulfilled in Jesus Christ. They say nothing of our future, except that we will live as children of God.

I agree; many other prophecies are introduced by wars, famine, floods etc., but they are made complete in Christ!

A person can choose to believe or not believe. I don't listen to what others say I should believe in and or nor do I enforce and or appeal anyone else to believe. I simply do what is right for me and you need to do what is right for you. Preaching will not get anyone to change their mind so I at times don't understand why some exert so much anger while doing so.

Because they are a part of me; and I want to avoid 'getting dragged into the all consuming fire.'
