May 21 2011 a huge earthquake visit our place i lived in Philippines at Baguio City some of my friends didn't feel the earthquake but me and my brother feel it, i asked my brother if he feel and told me yes he tough he is just a little bit dizzy but it is an earthquake, i know that it is an earthquake because my clothes that hang on our moving and even my bed i seldom panic because i know panic is the most dangerous if we apply this because if we are panicking we are affecting some people and that will lead to some people doesn't have self control anymore. in your place did you feel the earthquake? are you having panic if this case come?

Was it in the news? I don't think there were any earthquakes reported in the Philippines. Maybe it was just psychological on your part, expecting that huge event regarding the end of the world bit. If it was indeed an earthquake then it might have been those small ones that we get almost everyday.

Well, I guess you were right. It was reported in the news that a magnitude 5.9 earthquake hit Isabela.

I'm here in the Philippines, however, I did not feel any earthquake or earth shake. Today, May 21, was sunny and fine. It was just like any normal summer day here in the Philippines.

I heard about this in the news. I hope you are all doing ok. I live near the capital so I did not feel this earthquake. I can't imagine right now what I would feel in an earthquake. The last big one that I remember is, of course, the one in 1990, all the rest that I (vaguely) remember are minor ones. Will I panic? I wonder... I live in a one-story house so I feel quite safe here. But if I were caught in a tall building during an earthquake, I can imagine that I'd freeze for a few seconds before I know what to do. =P Come to think of it, we should really be more prepared nowadays, be aware of exits and safety measures and emergency plans wherever we are. Take care!

I think you were affected psychologically because if your friends didn't feel an Earthquake then maybe it wasn't an earthquake. Maybe because you were so scared of what was going to happen that you started imagining an earthquake. There was nothing in the news about an earthquake in the Philippines.

Hi there, I reckon the earthquake wasn't huge. If your friends didn't feel it and no reports of damage were there then you must have imagined the earthquake. I didn't find any news article in regards to the quake in Philippines as well. I am glad that you are alright and you didn't panic. You are right that panicking won't do any good, instead it will make every one lose their self control. If earthquake was to come at our place, i would leave the house straightaway!

I am also from the Philippines. But no, we didn't feel anything. I even stayed up late last night just to be sure. But me and my family had a good night sleep. But, there were some reports that some parts of the Philippines did experience an earthquake.

Is this another end of the world discussion? It couldn't have been a very "huge" earthquake if not many people felt it. No earthquake to report here though...we don't get many of those in my part of the U.S.
