My iphone is broken and I am in desperate need of a new one. I currently have a 3gs but I am thinking of getting the 4 or 5. What should I get?

If your account has an available upgrade, then I would definitely go for the 4 (I just did that two days ago). If there aren't any upgrades then you could either wait a few months for one, pay full iphone 4 price, or just get a new 3gs for about 50 bucks

I don't have an upgrade and it cost 500 dollars for the 3gs with no upgrade!

That sucks...either take your phone to the apple store and they'll be able to fix it or just buy a cheap little phone for now until you have an available upgrade. If not, you could always check out ebay and see if you can get a good price for an iphone, either 3g or 4.
