Who Will Stand with Lady Gaga in Her Defense of "Judas"?

I will, if I can (read: if the Chosen Mama lets me ). Stefani Angelina Germanotta (Lady Gaga) says, "it was important for me to take Biblical symbolism and marry it with cultural symbolism and create a modern social statement about forgiveness and freedom and faith." I see her intellectual interpretation of the story Christians use to teach the Gospel. Let's look at some of the lyrics (according to lyricsmode.com): "Forgive him when his tongue lies through his brain Even after three times he betrays me." "I want to love you But somethin`s pullin` me away from you. Jesus is my Virtue. and Judas is the demon I cling to." You can see there that Judas wasn't always the 'him' she was singing about ... kinda like the KJV Bible does with pronouns, she does ... There's not even any evidence she was talking about Iscariot; but Jesus was abandoned by eleven out of the twelve anyway! What's your 'verdict'? Do I need to defend her some more or not?

With anything in life, words are not enough, what also matters is how you project yourself. The people don't care what she says or sings about (words) what they usually see is how she projects herself through the songs. Well, the Judas song just shows that she can just project any biblical person anytime she wants and without limits and it's insulting to a lot of Christians. I mean, why does she need to touch religion in the first place? She's just mocking something that she definitely doesn't understand. I think it's high time that she makes music (or is that what she calls it) and limit it to her grasp. She's like trying to be madonna and you need the voice to be like that - should actually need to be able to really sing. Anyway, I am not really a fan of lady gaga, yeah some of her tunes are something that I hear, but it doesn't mean that she's an artist if she could wear something bizarre and tries so hard to be unique. But beneath these things, it boils down to one thing, she can be an entertainer (because she usually looks funny) but she should filter what she should do or should not touch.

Lady Gaga is a whole bouquet; if you would throw away a bouquet of thousands of roses just because a few don't smell rosey, you are not worthy of being a Little Monster; Off with her h--- sorry, channeling Lord Flash there for a moment ... or Fool Scaramouche or whatever ... Have you ever seen DOGMA (George Carlin, Janeane Garofalo, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Jay and Silent Bob)? That movie is another reminder of the fact that religion is a man-made system based on a myth (that you believe it actually happened doesn't make it any less a myth ... you're a myth to me; I'm a myth (-ociate) to you ...

for me lady gaga is a good singer but contradicting the real truth about JESUS CHRIST and choose satan to be her idol ... i don"t think so she know much about god,,,,... because for i strongly believe that JESUS CHRIST is a god and he is a first born son of our heavenly father ,,,,, and time will come the truth will spread all over the world .

And she's not denying any of that. She's just saying that Judas was just as human as Jesus was.

A teenage girl who kills her pet cat, to paint herself with the blood of the cat to look like her idol, Lady Gaga. Don't we have enough insane people in this world, without having people like Lady Gaga promoting insanity?

Lady Gaga isn't CONDONING insanity, not suggesting that we add to the insanity; she just presents the insanity as something to be dealt with, as the insanity besets us all (with or without Lady Gaga).
