Hello Lotters, It wasn't that easy to begin with, it's been months since I've thought about it. the original plan was to upgrade it to two megabtyes but i remember the horrors of the bills regarding how hard for us to pay it. so, change my mind and decided to go for the second one. A lot has change in my provider. i do remember it correctly that they do have a 1.5mb speed which i thought it exist, but when i inquire for it to be upgraded I was surpised that they lowered it to one megabye now. unless i kinda lost a memory, i think the upgrade was a lot faster compare to last few years. I had a frustrating time having it upgrade, they had to make me comeback because i forgot my own valid ID and a letter of authorization of the owner, which is my mom... After one day of having almost NO connection i have more speed now than ever. finally, am out of that too slow scheme of browsing the net. Have a great day

by the garden - we can place our netbooks and still get internet connection even when we are in the garden. while others are connected also at the balcony or inside the house. the convenience of great speed and wi-fi. :)
quite happy now are you? lol good for you lk! since the summer began last month, we had decided to fix the connections at home too. we bought a router so that more people can get connected at the same time. it's like wi-fi at home. and at one point you would see 5 kids having their own laptops in the entertainment room. and one person exclaimed, "we look like an internet cafe already!" lol everyone is happy and we can be online even when we are in the garden or the second floor balcony.

Hello MylesNarvaez, I was thinking of changing my DSL Bundle into a WIFI but hearing signal problems from globe and actually experiencing crappy connection, i had to change my mind. and another disadvantage of WIFI for is that it's just the two of us here, we don't want to upgrade it even further because some might ilegally share a connection with us here.

Hi Letra, There was a time when you had to wait for your turn. If you got within 15 minutes to 20 minutes. And some time you are back home without any link. That was telephone business. I am talking about Internet. Yes it is very fast now. What I am using now is BSNL free service and I sent my car to get washed. And lo! within twenty minutes my car was back home all shining. The Internet slab I am using now Indian currency 750/50 per month and the speed is quite ok. Downloading speed is 9o per minute. I am quite ok with this. And if I feel I need to increase the speed, I have to change the slab.

Hello Krajibg, So far so good i think. since i brought the line back, things are doing well. my internet now is average cost of 20 dollars a month and it's still reasonable compare to the last connection.though the speed isn't fast as the last one, things are cool in this speed though. having a 15 minute wait is hell i might cancel my subscription if it's slower

Hello Granny, Wow, how i wish i have that kind of internet speed with cheap price to pay for. unfortunately, anything that goes beyond one mega byte speed, we are going to pay bigger than forty or fifty dollars a month. it's not something i want to consider anymore since it's not like that i want to let it happen. but for now, am satisfied with my speed. have a nice day

That is wonderful to hear. I used dialup internet connection for years. I was slow for some things but fine for others. I upgraded to DSL this year and now have more speed too.

Hello Steph, I hated dial ups, it takes forever to atleast consider learning how to surf sites and all. we have upgraded to DSL for a while it's been really good. except that we had to change the plan because we couldn't keep up with the bills. but now am happy with the speed. not so slow but not too fast either. it's normal for me.

Wow...It takes a lot of stress working with a good internet connection cause I get irritated when the connection is slow. The problem is that my computer has the problem not the internet. Good for you!

What a world of a difference right. lol I remember very early on when I was dating my boyfriend and I remembered while being at his apartment that I had to pay a bill online that very same day. He started up the internet and I wanted to die. I having had broadband speed high internet for so long and he had dial up, made a huge world of difference. So as a condition prior to moving in, I said only on one condition that you upgrade your internet. lol he did and bet you too are seeing such a great improvement.

Hello hardworkinggurl, Dial up speed is History and totally not the choice of an internet user anymore.it's really nice that i get to post a lot again. the slow connection really gave me a down drain because of it's performance, mine got crooked too. but now, am doing almost fine so i think thigns will go well after wards.
