One of my friend is a great movie lover. He used to see movies daily in theatres for 25 minutes only. He has no other bad habits apart from this one. He has this habit for the past 10 years. Do u know how much he spend for CINEMA THEATRES ITSELF? It is 4 lakhs and 50 thousand rupees ( rupees = currency used in india) . So now it is your turn, how much do u spens for cinemas? And what do u comment about my friends expenses for CINEMA THEATRE?

It costs me and my partner $20 AUS for 2 tickets, then munchies and drinks on top of that $10 is a cheap ticket! they range in price from $10-$25 depending on which cinema you choose i would rather save the extra money for other things then pay more for what we can have at a cheaper price. The closet cinema to me is usually the cheapest too which helps. I think theatre tickets can range in price up to a couple hundred dollars.

hi, actually i would rather choose to watch a movie in my house rather than in cinema or theater because i can save more money when i watch in the house instead in the theater.

Hi there, I used to spend a lot of money on movies before... I remember watching movies in cinemas almost every week. However, when I have decided to move out from my parents' house, I have learned how to be practical and value money... Watching movies online is a practical way to save a lot of cash... I would rather spend on more important things such as appliances, groceries and medicines rather than pay PHP 150 for a 1 and half hours movie in theatre... Life is getting harder these days and people should really be practical/sensible...

I only spend for a few bucks every few years because I don't attend cinema often. It is not that I don't like to watch movie, but there is a lot of ways to watch movie such as through P2P, streaming.. etc.

I don't spend anything when I can watch movies online for free. I have not been to a movie in years because it's way too expensive. There used to be a $1 movie I would go to but that closed a few years ago. If I get a move I will rent it from Red Box for $1. I love Red Box but I don't rent movies often even it it is a $1 and I don't watch as many movies online as I used to. Don't really have the time.

It's so darn expensive to go to the movie theater these days. We use to live in a town that had a $1 theater. It was the best! They would get movies that were recently out of the movie theater and play them. I didn't mind seeing a movie a month after it came out in the regular theater, especially for a dollar! Now that we've moved though, our cheapest theater is $10.50 a person. I refuse to pay that much for a movie ticket when I could buy the movie and keep it forever at that price. It's just not important enough to me to pay that much. It has been a few years now since I've been to the theater because of that.

i'm also movie lover but spending to much in theater is silly, here in calgary we have one theater here that offers half price of the ticket every tuesday and this theater had lots of aminities to dip in after watching movies...

It is quite expensive to go to the movies these days and even a family of four for example would spend just for the film about $50 just to enter and that without any treats and or snacks. Luckily my boyfriend is an actor and we do not pay, as we get free movie tickets to go to many theaters here. But I do know that it is very expensive because a movie here can be $10- $12 per person.

Going to cinema is definitely not a bad habits, however if you are spending the whole day and every day at the cinema than there is a serious problem. Does he not have a job? And also how does he manage to pay for it? Watching films is always very educational and also gives you a good break from real life but we will have to face up to reality and deal with problems sooner or later. Perhaps I read your question wrong, may be he just spends his spare time at the cinema only, which is good, at least he is at the cinema watching films and learning and not up to no good elsewhere.

hmmm, i never thought of calculating my movie spending before, for me the real issue is having enough time to watch movies in cinemas, so what I do is just download the movies i've missed and hopefully watch them if i get the chance :P but when i have the chance i usually sneak out of the office to watch a movie and its so thrilling to do that XD
