My little Eva has been up my tail all weekend..literally!

I have had a three day weekend and it has been glorious! I have got to do some things around the house that I have been wanting to do, spent much needed time with my family, and am feeling refreshed for work tomorrow. I have also give some much needed attention to my little dog Eva. She has missed me so much. Everytime I turned around..there she was...wanting to be held. She has been my shadow all weekend long. She is the one in the house that adores me and actually cries when I leave. She has taken advantage of my weekend off and has been up my tail all weekend long...literally. I even took a picture of her while I was trying to study just to show you all how close she likes to be
Just remember, she only weighs two and half pounds so the tail she is up is not as big as it looks

My dog follows me alot plus is always lying where i need to walk. Drives me nuts sometinw especially if i'm feeling bad. My son says the dog is possessed where i'm concerned. Bet little eva was glad u were home.

I have really had to get used to mine being so attached..lol..she is just a part of almost everything I do. She is laying on my lap right now. If I tell her no...she acts as if she is heartbroken. I don't do that much..lol..not after I saw how she acted when I said it.
Sounds like your dog is possessed when it comes to you.

What a cute photo. Two of my three chihuahuas are always trying to push each other out of the way so one of them can drape themself over my shoulder when I am on the computer.

Chihuahuas really have a lot of personality don't they. They need alot of attention too. My little Eva is crazy jealous of the other ones in the house. She is the smallest and the hardest for any of the others to get along with..lol..She's the boss.

I am used to cats and have had many in the past and sometimes I feel I would need a cat right now. It gives such a comfort - especially when it is so attached and cuddly as your little Eva. 
The problem is that I want to be free to come and go when I want and I don´t know if I can find someone to take care of my cat when I need a "cat sitter" if I am away for a longer time.

Is´s great that you can take the pets with you.
I live very near Finland, so they have other laws and we have to get a health statement from a vet to take pets over there. And if I go there and stay some time, it would be a bit complicated. I have no car either, so at this time I don´t want to have any pets of my own. Have to enjoy the pets of someone else..

It is very important to make sue that you ae ready. One that travels alot or wants to really does have to consider it before getting a pet. I am going to Indiana in a few weeks. I wouldn't be able to go if my pets couldn't go too. I am glad they are welcome to stay too.

what a little darling. the only time coco stays right by me is if im eating something she wants or if son is at home in his room and she knows hes here. otherwise she sulks and pouts and sometimes even hides when hes gone.

my oldest cat is very much that way. He wants to be on me, or by me constantly. Right now he is on the floor at my feet. He can also be found sleeping on my clean clothes. Another one of my cats walks basically under my feet all the time. He gets stepped on a lot.

It's crazy how close they want to be sometimes.
I have always thought of cats as being very independant. They must be crazy in love with you. They aren't going to just give in and let you love on them..they love you when they want too..lol.

My Fang stayed as close as he could was always in the comp room with me and yes he would cy when I left and meet m at the door when I got bakc he passed away about 3 weeks after I had my cancer operation in 2007. I so want another one like him he was an american Spitz lived 15 years and 15 days old

I came home from work and Rygel jumped in my arms.
Timus kept getting in my arms too, tho he won't jump from the floor like Rygel and Oliver do.
Scamp kept grabbing at me... in fact, if I weren't hiding in my front room, I would be MOBBED!

I am not a pet person, so can't respond to your dog enquiry!! BUT, I have more pictures than any one person should have and need to get them organized.......as if they can be!! I have a box with framed 5X7's in it, a pile of 8X10's on the floor of my computer room and more 4X6's then I want to count........at least 5 boxes full. Even with all this, my youngest gave me a multi-picture frame for 4X6's and I can't find what I want to put in it!! lol I love to sit and look at the pictures over and over and the memories come flooding back.......every emotion you can imagine....happiness, sadness, funny, crazy etc. Love every one of them and even have some of my kids' friends, who I don't know!!

Pictures are a real treasure. They do have a way of tugging a million emotions at one time.
My girls love looking at the pictures...over and over. They will just up and ask..mom can I see the pictures. It is at least once a month..lol

That is so cute! It's quite obvious that Eva loves you too and wants to be with you all the time. That's so sweet! I have 5 dogs and 11 cats and most of them want to be beside or on top of me, especially at night when hubby and I go to bed. We have a kind size bed that feels like a twin with most of them in or on the bed with us. LOL

Hi JenInTN!.
I think I am in the same situation like you. I have been so busy until I had no time yo bathe my dog. Its been almost a month he have not got his regular bath and start to smell like dog. can you imagine white dog not been bathe thats long, its start grey I think and need to do it as soon as possible.
I think this week I will give more attention. So he will not beg for my attention any more. I think Eva a happy dog now with attention you give to her. I love to taking picture and spoil my dog but this one really independent one and he will never sit in lap because he is to big. There is time sit in front me beg for back massage or rub his hear. They are so adorable.

She does miss me. When I walk in the door of an evening, I can expect that she will be right with me for the rest of the night..lol.
I am lucky she is so small that it is not a lot of work to bathe her. She is usually very well mannered until I try to dry her off...lol..she gets a little angry then.
I ber your dog does enjoy a back massage. I even enjoy those.
