There should be respect here both when particpating in the dicussions and when we choose an avatar, in my opinion.
When I see an avatar that does not fit here then I report it. We should consider that there are people of all ages, countries, religions and cultures and do our best not to offend anyone in any way at all, including when we choose our avatar

Hi Rich! That is my point exactly!
We should all realise that there are other perspectives and not only our own.
free_man we can soon overcome that problem. I have sent you a FR and if you send the link, I can help report it too if it could be out of place and offensive to some. We have enough problems offline without having unnecessary ones here too which would/could spoil the fun!

Indeed many Lotters saw that user and reported them.
I had the profile open and I have just checked. They are no longer here as admin has deleted them
Many try out those antics here but none get away with them for long 
If you spot other things then you can now send a PM and I am happy to hekp bring them to admin's attention. There are many other sites for those things but not here on myLot!

An offensive avatar was the first thing I reported here. It was an image of a swastika and I thought there might be people who could feel offended by seeing it.

I like to have an avatar that is fun for me. My current one here is a photo I took at a car show of a vendor's bus. I love the color. If the avatar is truly indecent, it needs to be reported to admin, because this is a family site. On the other hand, I can think of at least one user that has a bathing suit top on, some may not like her avatar, but it is not indecent. Do you want to send me a link? Some things you or I would not wear, but by today's standard are alright.

Hi there,
As for my avatar I like the happy girl in it, as I try to be happy as much as I can, despite any issues I may have I like to appear as happy as possible. I did not see the avatar you mentioned but as per admin here in a discussion a while ago, that anything that exceeds Victoria Secrets catalog would not be allowed. Therefore, anything offensive beyond the limits should be reported.

Yes it is an adult site, and as per admin pictures beyond anything acceptable in Victoria Secret is not allowed. Though there are some topics an language far beyond that and it stays so go figure. lol
Yes I do agree if one does not want to be bothered they can just skip and the legal age here for s@x would be 18, not that there is such stature rather anyone of above that engaging in s@x with someone below could have legal charges for s@x with a minor.

I like to think that it also brings here a little peace from that meadow on a top of a mountain.
As for a shocking avatar, I think you should report it. Mature content can be excluded by modifying the preferences but you can't choose not to display such an avatar.

I supposed you love dogs by only looking at your avatar. That's why I said I expect you to understand the reason I chose that avatar.

I don't know what do those girls have in mind when they use such images to represent them? (Probably they don't understand us, who have dogs at our avatars, either.

I do love dogs and if I was rich I would have many dogs and play with them all. Those dogs in my avatar are our babies we treat them as little children....LOL I guess that is silly but it is the way that it is. I didn't understand that avatar either that she put up there to me it was a bad choice.
We don't know each other here on mylot (I mean personally). So I chose my avatar to be somewhat mysterious.@free_man (7330)

Dogs are pretty special. The pit is kind of testy and test how far he can go but the lab mix is a pretty loveable dog. He is still young the pit is about 4 years old. We have had both of them since they were very young. The pit we got a few weeks after he was born his mother had dried up and wasn't feeding him so we brought him home so she wouldn't kill him.
I love dogs too. We have two labradors and one german shepherd.

hi,
actually it will depend upon to the eye of the beholder,if he/she will give any malice on it or not,sometimes people judge easily a thing or pictures,so maybe in the first place you were really shock on it,but if you dont give any malice on it its just nothing but a picture only.

LOL! Why would someone choose to expose theirselves like that? I realize we don't really know who it is but I can live without seeing it. More than likely someone on this site knows who it is. Hopefully, that person will tell her how distasteful the avatar is is. I think someone forgot to teacher how to respect her body. Unbelievable. Best Wishes!
