Back To School

My daughter is excited to be back in school. She will be in Grade One (1). I believe she is the youngest in her class for she is only five years old and will be six this December. Her Kinder 1 teacher and the Pre-elem principal recommended her to be in the grade school for she already is a fast reader. She took the entrance exam for grade one and she passed. I hope she will do good in school. I will always be at her side to guide her.

Hi. dorisday1971. That is very wonderful that your daughter will be in first grade at five years old. She is very smart! I know that you are very proud of your daughter too. My son's last day in school was yesterday. I am very glad, because I have been waiting for him to get out of school for the summer break. I guess it is different where you live at. Congrats to your daughter!

How nice, some children start early in schooling. As a mother I know ytou are very proud of your kid and sure you take her to school on the first day. Have a nice day for both of you. Enjoy your kid youthfulness.

I am always proud of my daughter. I am thankful that that she is blessed with intellect. It is not only during the first day of classes that I bring her to school. I do drive her to school everyday especially tht her dad is not in the country and as long as my schedule permits, I fetch her home too.

My brother in law and nephew - Doing homework is always a great time to bond with your kids.
She will be fine! My daughter was also very young when she started. She was always at the top of her class...even through high school and has made the dean's list several times in college. (her GPA is still a 3.89 at the beginning of her fourth year) Just make sure you set aside a time each day to help her with homework. Don't assume she can do it. Even if she doesn't need help that day, if she knows you are available and willing it makes it that much better for her.

Why can't you go to school this year? Is it because of financial reasons? If so, why don't you become a working student or take part-time jobs so you can study.

Wow!.. Your really a supportive mom.. I'm really amazed that your daughter is tough one and a fast reader at all. Parents really do boost up child's learning's. That's really great to hear. Just continue being supportive and being with her always =)

I am a very supportive mom. This doesn't mean that I will push my daughter so hard that she will be pressured. I let her do her own thing at her own pace. I want her to enjoy childhood.

I have a daughter who's a pre-schooler and it's her first time to go to school. I think sometimes, as parents, we are even more excited about our kids going to school than them.

Yeah, you're right. Parents are more excited than the children especially if the children are just starting school.

Hi there! I know how excited you are 'cause that's what I felt when my son went to school for the first time. I am excited with everything! From his supplies to his uniforms and his studies, haha! I remember when my son cried for the first day of his school,he was in nursery that time,I felt sad about it,wanted to accompany him inside but I know it's normal,it's his first time to be away with me. After 3 days,he's fine already and excited too to go to school. Your lucky your baby is so smart! Goodluck to your daughter dorisday! See yah!
