this is an awesome truth! there are songs that can really make you sad when you hear them,but its not the song that makes us cry its the people behind the memories.music can make you laugh,dance,cry,party and it can provide the humans with every emotions such is the power of music!

I have to agree. Everytime I hear "When October Goes" it makes me sad cause I lost my mom to cancer in Oct. of 2001. And whenever I hear "Only Friends" I remember my one and only guy bestfriend back in grammar school. Good post...thanks!

Sad melody and lyrics can make me feel sorrowful when I think about the meaning of one's life. "What good is in youth when it is aging, what joy is in eyes that cannot see.." - I appreciate the song and the lyrics, but I should believe in the future no matter what.
