When I was slim, I always thought to myself that I should eat a lot because, in the first place, I'm not going to gain weight. I had a happy life for almost nineteen years until, I realized that I'm gaining much. I felt like I have been very abusive of myself and now, I'm suffering. I'm already 21 years old and I hate it because I'm not sexy. Most of my friends would bully me because I look fatter. They would even call me mother because, for them, I look like one. Can you help me guys? I have been eating and less and exercising more, but nothing happens.

If you wanna become thinner you have to change most habits especially eating habits. If you eat more than thrice a day you have to reduce that. You also have to jog every morning. I used to jog 2 minutes every morning and it cut me about 10 lbs after 2 and half months, I think. You also have to hit the gym at least 2 times a day not for weight training, but for cardio. Hire a cardio trainer for an extensive knowledge about cardio training, it'll pay off even though it costs a bit high. Or, if you don't want to hit the gym at all, some overweight people don't wanna go because they're embarrassed and it's normal, you should just join group or organizations that practices activities that interests you like tennis groups, track and field, volleyball, basketball, you name it. You'll find other fat fellows there so you won't feel left out.

Maybe you are anorexic, that's why you don't gain weight. Oh how I envy you! Try doing aerobics. I heard they are good for people like you, or you can do yoga.

Do not be too hard on yourself. Losing weight is not really very easy. Eat right and just continue your exercise. Remember to do this for yourself so that you would feel beautiful and sexy like you used to. Try to eat less calorie than what your body can burn. Also. Get to know yourself and be more assertive in doing whatyou want, and that is to lose weight right? I hope you would be successful in doing so. All the best to you my friend.

Hey dont worry Do try to focus on your eating habits and control over eating first since in my view main cause of weight gain is over eating try to decrease your diet than do your excercise and your weight will decrease slowly .......all the best !!!...... Hare Krishna Ganesh

Eating less and exercising more does not always equate to weight loss. Remember, the more you exercise the more muscle you produce. Muscle is heavier than fat. Your best bet to weight loss is not to do any muscle gaining exercises. Exerting effort does not always equate to calorie burn. So it would be best to consult an expert.

Eating less but still with too much calories will not make you any slimmer. Lose the junk food and sweets and replace them with fiber-rich food to help digestion, healthy food like fruits and veggies, avoid red meat and stick to chicken (not fried) and fish instead. Drink lots of water, forget the canned/powdered juice, shakes and soda. But if you have a juicer from which you can create natural fruit juices, that will work wonders for you. Just add water since pure fruit juices are too sweet for comfort. Good luck! :D

I'm allergic to chicken. I have to stick with fish? Junks are really great, but I have to control my crave for it or else, I'm the one who's going to suffer.

If you have been eating less and keeps on exercising , but still nothing happens, then maybe there might be an underlying problem in your body. Perhaps you can consult your doctor about it. There are lots of cases wherein some people despite the above , still keeps on getting fatter. Only to find out that it is hormonal imbalance or hypothyroidism, that is the culprit. Maybe you can visit your doctor, just to be sure why you keep gaining weight.

I'm suffering from hormonal imbalance. I found about it when I was still in highschool - no wonder why I have been gaining a lot.

Eating less and exercising more does not necessarily cause weight loss. What you should do is to eat healthy. Try eating foods with high fiber for good metabolism. Avoid junk and fast foods as they will help you gain more weight. Also, drink more water. Exercising just for the sake of exercising will not also work for you. You should, at least, consult a physician or gym instructor. Tell them your goals for your body so they can help find a proper workout routine for you. Not all exercises help you lose weight, some even helps you to gain some. I hope this helps you. I was also chubby once but I achieved the body that I'm comfortable with. I hope you achieve your goal. Dedication and motivation is your best friend. :)
