How do you keep kids quiet while on you are on the phone, especially when you are talking to your boss without spoiling their play time? I have this two nieces who love screaming and shouting while playing and sometimes I think their lungs are too big for their tinny little bodies.

When my kids were little and I needed to make an important phone call I would bribe them with a tasty lollipop! lol. I made sure their mouths were kept busy.

kids really doesn't care whatever you do at the moment of their play. One of the easiest ways to get into the telecommuting industry is to get a job as a phone. These phone jobs are more readily available than other telecommuting jobs and usually pay pretty well. When you start working in your home, keep the kids quiet can be a bit of a challenge. There's a fine line between keeping your child quiet and stifling the fun that children should have every day.you should be the one to adjust and go some place where the area is clear and away from their noise. Your children will have noise from time to time. Make every effort to keep silence, but not at the expense of stress, or expect too much from it.

Hello Joy and welcome to myLot. I have found that any time I got on the phone the kids get louder and always need to tell you something important and it can't wait until I got off the phone. Now if I have an important phone call or any calls I go into another room because they keep trying to have a three way conversation even now.

I think it would be best that you have a cordless phone. So you can avoid the noise even by going into the closet. It's tough to make them quiet, more over if they know that you want them to be silent. hehehe.. There are times when we can't really do anything about it, except avoid them altogether.

Hi Joy24love, I would give them a snack or turn on their favorite cartoon/show and explain to them to sit quietly because you are on a very important call. And then maybe go into a different room or outside.

i think you cant unless you force them to stop having fun, which is not good. i guess if im in your situation, i would go to a much quiet place and there i woould take the call.

I think that at a young age, you should discipline kids about stuff like this, when they should really behave. 1As for your nieces, I'm sure you have lots f other rooms in the house, you can make them go in there and they can scream all they want. Or you can just give them something to eat.

I think when you are on the phone, you excuse yourself first and give the kids a snack to eat. That way their mouth will be too busy to shout.

Give them lots of foods or toys, or make them watch TV. Or you can always go some place quiet. :)
