That's so sweet of you! Truly, the blessing she gave is the best reward for doing that for you. No money could ever compensate your gaining a friend because of your singing. I think that a more important thing in life other than being happy is making other people happy! So, here's three cheers for you!

I think doing good for others is one reason we are put on the Earth to begin with. The rest is just life. Doing for others makes us happy and gives us an overpowering feeling of goodwill for our fellow man. If you feel this has been your remuneration in this life then you have felt the happiness you should have.

1q2w3e4r etc. hi thats just so lovely what you did for her and you and her became friends. sad that she will not live but you gave her a gift' of love when you sang your song for her and she blessed you. what a dear sweet person you are and you did get your remuneration in this life. I have never had quite that experience but as a nurses aide I once helped a hometown older lady who was a friend of me and my folks. she was having a hard time breathing, so I ran out in the hall and got a tank of oxygen that was all set up. turned it on and handed her a mask and a baby aspirin. then I called the head nurse and told her what I had d one and asked het to check my friend and call her doctor. The head nurse praised me for my quick thinking and when I went home later for my days off I met my elderly friend in the general store. she bragged to all who would listen that I had saved her life but I sure felt embarrassed and pleased at the same time. She had had a mild heart attack but recovered and lived another fifteen years after that. I was happy that I could help.
