travelling - the long and winding road

On our way to provincial tour, along the way we see a lot of beautiful spots, high hills, green fields, huge rocks, various plants, scattered big trees, etc. By merely looking all those, unconsciously I began to hum songs, then sing songs, which as I think it over, have something to do with what I have seen. For example, when my eyes were focus on the longs road, I started singing the song by Beegees, I suppose, "The long and winding road that leads to your door..." When my eyes were focus on different beautiful flowers, I began singing the song of Barbara Streisand, "You don't bring me flowers, you don't sing me love songs..." And in line with these songs, I would relate to certain situation in my life that somehow has a connection with these songs. Thinking all these, I laugh at myself. How could I easily connect things, from settings to songs to life story. And all these, for no reason at all. Hahaha!

When I traveled around the world I was 20 to 21 years old. I listened to some pieces of music in Australia which I enjoyed. Years later I heard the different tunes and it put my memory back to where I was and what I was doing. I adore traveling to many different countries. I listened to music on my walk man for lots of my trips. I remember back at home listening to music that I had heard in Croatia on my way to work on the train.

Well, when we travel for a long time and get to see really scenic views, hmmmn, okay just me, I tend to get really bored and I have my mind all to myself too, that I can understand how you felt, it's funny how many creative ideas are made on the bus, or train...
