i think my roommate will not be coming back anymore from vacation

he wrote a small message from his facebook saying "he might not be coming back anymore". he is in egypt and he may be found a new job there. or maybe, if not in egypt, it could be at the other side of the GCC region but not in KSA.. i think this is the most sad and painful part of living out when you are left yourself alone by your roommate! by the way, he applied for a 2 weeks vacation and i expected him to come back on the 8th of this month!

hi zills well since sometimes I wish I did not have a roommate that is always fussing at me about my bedtime I at times wish i could afford a private room but most of the time she is a sweetie. see she is not herself anymore as she is going through Alzheimer disease and forgets things an hour after they happened, it upsets her too so I try to be
kinder to her thanking God for what he has given me a sound mind in an elderly body. I can live with some physical problems but I wish to stay sound of mind all the rest of my days. we are both in our eighties by the way. I can just imagine your shock when your roommate just left you a message on facebook like that. Are you just friends or more like boyfriend, girlfriend? any way he could have been kinder and phoned you or wrote a personal note or do people hand write notes any more? lol

he came back and he just cant afford missing me. he is a boy and i am a boy too and we like each other so much.. we're not g.ays though but we shared a lot of things.. all my roommates happened to be same as his nationality and i like them so much....

Feel happy that you still have a social network site like facebook to reach your roommate. You will still be in communication with him despite the distance factor.

Hello zills! I think you just have to accept that things happen for a reason. We all have to go on and move separately. People we see and share things with will come and go, same as friends, or lovers as well. I don't have experience on having roommates. If there is, it would be my sisters. Well, things do change. My sisters have been gone in the house and living separately with us but still going back on holidays or weekends. But yes, things have changed already. A lot of things change. All people change too, at times. We have to leave the past and move on to face the future. It's really sad to see someone else go, but we just have to accept it. No matter how hard we try, they just all have to go. That's life!

aww I know how you feel. I had this room mate. At first we were like enimies, serious enimies lol. we had fights a couple of times but later we just went and became good friends. Nowdays I miss her. Remembering those hostel days, it was probably one of the best days I had. I don't really know where she is right now but yeah life goes on.
