Does SEO techniques really work?

Seo acronymn for search engine optimization is in vogue. I was told by one of my colleauge that to generate traffic on your website you need to use seo techniques but it might take a lot of time. I have used it and it has been more than 6 months but still it hasn't been that successful. Can someone recommend any other better strategy?

hi vishalconvergys, Seo is one of the main things on internet. It really works and gets a lot of credit. If we fail in something to succeed, it does not mean that is wrong. You were rightly told that seo is time taking process. The search engines are the only source for our sites to be viewed and they they can attend us only with proper optimization.

You will get the result if you do the SEO in proper way. That include competition analysis,keyword analysis and lastly proper implementation. I have done SEO to my and client's website and is working fine.
