Skype: Mysterious Crash

Skype - Skype is a software application that allows users to make voice and video calls and chats over the Internet. Calls to other users within the Skype service are free, while calls to both traditional land-line telephones and mobile phones can be made for a fee using a debit-based user account system.

After Microsoft has successfully bought Skype, we all started to experience some mysterious crash around the world. It apparently affects only Skype on Windows... Does anyone here had experienced the same thing during these few weeks?

Yes I had about two weeks ago. And yes it was only affecting windows users as it was working well in safari. But Skype was able to fix that bug immediately by advising users to download the latest version of Skype. The funny thing was I just upgraded to the latest version when it crashed and I had to download the latest version again to fix the bug. Good thing that I had safari OS at that time and I used that to Hilda my classes.

I've been having trouble with Skype crashing after Microsoft bought it. I don't know if this is because Microsoft has been fiddling with the software, but if so, I am not surprised! Every Microsoft product so far has had some bugs or the other, they have never in their history put out a clean bug free program.

Never really had a problem with Skype before. Skype, to me, it's the best of its kind. But hopefully the issue will get resolved. Also, maybe I haven't experienced this issue since I'm a Mac user. :D
