navigator - commonly used in vehicles, it uses GPS to track locations
Hello there! A navigator could be a device or an application on cell phones that uses GPS for tracking locations. Navigators are useful for those who want to travel on places where they haven't visited yet because it helps them know the directions to any place. GPS (Global Positioning System) is a space based global navigation system that provides information on any location on earth through the use of sattelites. For more information about GPS, try to search for it. Have a nice day!

I"m not as sure about it. Going by the names used for them, Navigator is used for navigation purpose, but they won't tell u where is your exact location, unlike GPS. Navigation is part of a GPS, while it's not necessary to own a GPS if one don't have the need for it. Furthermore, GPS costs more than a navigator, based on that alone.
