Have you been in a "water" spa before?

I went to a water spa just this week, and it was so relaxing! There are many things you can do. Different jacuzzis with different temperatures and different aromatic oils. There is even a small pool with ice-cold water! They say that going from the ice-cold water to the heated pool is good for us (?) I tried it and my skin got numb for a few minutes! Then there is the big waist deep pool with different things to do, like there are beds there and then water continuously drops on your back. Lots of shower like things which blows pressurized water. A man made waterfall. More pressurized water targeting different parts of your body. My son's favorite is the "lazy river" where you can ride a rectangular floating foam where you can even lie down on your back and just goes around the sides of the big pool continuously. I hope we can go back there again soon!

It is surprising that you asked that. You wont believe my response. I worked for a company before which used to make Water Parks and Theme Parks. I have seen the execution of several projects related to the same. In fact when I was transfered from Delhi office to Mumbai, I stayed in the company's own water park for 6 months. But can you believe it, I sat on a water slide just once in my entire lifetime. At times, I did not have the time to do so. Sometimes I felt just lazy to do so. However today I regret not using the facilities more. It would have been really wonderful. But it is never too late.

That sounds like an exciting job you have! Too bad you didn't get to enjoy it that much. But just like you said, it is never too late.

The job was very exciting, I must say. The ability to watch happy faces all around you all day long is perhaps the best reward you can get in life.It makes you feel really good.

Ace water spa. There is one in QC and a new one in Pasig. In Pasig they are offering buy 1 take 1 promo on their tickets/entrance fee until June 15.

Lucky you. There are several Spas offer the water treatments but I never tried it before. I only went for a massage, facial, hair treatment, manicure and pedicure most of the time.

Sounds like a place me and my son would have a wonderful time. But it's just too far from where I am and going there on a vacation would be out of the question since it's already June and my schedule is just all paved up. Probably next summer would be great. Thanks for sharing and I feel so envious of what you have experienced.

It is very far from where you are (Iloilo). But I would rather be in a nice beach than in an indoor water spa! But I am too far away from a nice beach.
