The "Lost It" Files There are parents paying five Euros an hour for children as young as three to "pole dance" at a place called The Little Spinners Studio. Pole dancing is what strippers do: Adult women grind themselves up against a metal pole in a seductive manner to entice men to give them money. Adult women who pole dance successfully are well coordinated. Both strong arms and legs to lift oneself up or down the pole with apparent ease is needed. Kids are anything but seductive as they flop about on their poles with zero coordination in the relentlessly pink studio. The moves they attempt are strikingly familiar. One parent who brings her little one to Little Spinners knew it wasn't 'right' by saying she didn't blab her little Spinner habit to everyone the same way she would the Ballet class. What's next? Lap dancing? Barf. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2002697/Little-Spinners-pole-dancing-classes-children-young-THREE.html

This is beyond belief, What ever are these parents thinking of? I cannot understand the mentality of some people. Ok so these three year olds do not know what it is they are actually doing, but they soon will. The parents of these children will not be backward in coming forward when these little ones find themselves in serious trouble, Will they?

That is reactive, not proactive parenting. Sexuality is powerful, children don't understand this.

This is atrocious. I really think some people should be made to pass a certain test before they can procreate. I don't even approve of adult women doing this type of thing and I damn sure am not okay with children doing it. What's going on with the world today? Where has the shame gone? :(

That is a very good question. At least the pole dancing adult women have the ability to consent to sexualising themselves. Kids are clueless, especially when they are age three. By the time these kids realise what pole dancing is all about, the damage may be done. Or Gads forbid, they blab to some other kid who blabs to their own parent about what their Mommy has them doing after school... I too believe there needs to be some sort of pre-procreation education and then test. There is for driving a car. Mistakes made while driving cars don't leave said cars emotionally scared for life either.
