Duty is a matter of the mind. Commitment is a matter of the heart. What do you think?

I agree. If I'm forced to do something (duty) my heart is surely not in it.

I think that is well put. A duty is something quite often you feel you have to do. Something that society or family may tell you, you should do. A commitment is something you feel you should do. You feel it is important. Some things can be both a duty and a commitment.

I think that duty must do with heart too. So commitment and duty should use the heart and mind. What do you think?
