The satisfaction of saving another life will help build character, give you a meaning full life and just all around turn you into a more wholesome individual. Sign up for as many classes as they'll allow.

First aid classes are really important especially for me as a future nurse.I'm a trained rescuer just finish it last summer but I am still looking for more seminars and training to be efficient enough to help others in need in an emergency.

How they could help me? I guess, when you know what to do in emergency situations, you don't panic...and when you are not panicking, you save yourself and people around you. My favorite part in these classes is doing the bandages :)

I agree with you blueangel when your in panic during an emergency your ability to think right is altered so it also altered your performance and you're prone to commit mistake or even injure the victim more.If you know what to do you don't panic so training and classes are really important.

Well, First aid courses are something that is of importance to many people as it helps to teach you how to react and help others in case of Emergency. There are many times when even applying for certain types of work that being certified in something like this is a plus, and often will help you get the job. It can be something that is rewarding as there might be a time when you have to help someone, and know they lived because you were there.

Yes i agree that it is a skill building course that encourages self assertiveness. I think everyone who can afford first aid classes should consider them. It is a huge advantage in the workforce or when working around children as it provides the training you need to give instant medical assistance when required and could possibly save a life with this knowledge. goodluck.
