Best Way To Make Homemade Chicken Nuggets?

Hi everyone,
I love chicken nuggets, but I hate most that are sold at the grocery store because they just don't taste good, and they don't even have good texture! I like McDonald's chicken nuggets, as well as some other restaurants... but I would like to know how to make them at home.
I want to make some that are similar to the restaurants chicken nuggets, but I don't know how.
Do you make homemade chicken nuggets? How do you make them?

My mom makes them really simple, just the basic process which she tweaks a bit to create variety. She always starts with chicken fillet which she pounds mercilessly for a bit then cuts them into chunks, she seasons it with salt and pepper, coat with flour then dip in egg whites then coat again with breadcrumbs. To make it spicy, she rubs it with paprika when she seasons the fillets with salt and pepper. For a cheesy nugget, she uses parmesan as one of the coats.
