Mirriam Santiago's wedding anniversary...

hi, the marital vows maybe real for the both of them, husband and wife. but i find it comical to have their ever full of pretending "friends" in politics. it is like a circus. sorry. ann

Hi! I did not see the exchange of vows but I read about it in the internet. It's really amazing. Senator Miriam is amazing. I'm one of her supporters and I really think she's a genius. And now that I've learned that her marriage is as strong as it was, my admiration for her has went up to the next level. She's really different. I salute her. I will vote for her the next time she runs for whatever position!

hehe i find her amusing too.. and quite funny. in a good way i mean. she sure was able to put together people in one place and well we could have blown up manila hotel and this country would have been free from the crocodiles and aligators alike. hahaha ;) thanks to her...

Whenever Mirriam's name is mentioned - may it be in the newspaper or tv - I am always looking forward to hearing what she's going to say because she is very empowered and as a woman, I feel proud and empowered as well because of her intelligence. She has received a lot of criticisms yet she remained standing on her ground - firm and prepared. During her wedding ceremony, I was proud that she was the only one who gathered all rivals in politics and even in business. Though I felt awkward watching it - but I am very proud of her. Orocan. WE call all the politician attended the wedding as Orocan. Orocan plastic.Tupper ware. Anyway, yes i do agree that Mirriam is funny and very frank. Maybe despite of what happened in the past, the struggle she had faced she already moved on from that. She believes that there is life after the storm. However, inviting those enemies in politics are very doubtful. Maybe she want something to happen in the future. I cannot explain but I am having second thoughts of that all enemies and foes of politics are there. They are united there physically, but spiritually they want to hold a knife and stab one another.

For me they use it so that they find here owned anniversary to make her popular.

i have nothing against the senator but the whole celebration is all political to me. well, of course, she is inside the political arena, but the celebration that is supposed to be solemn and private looked like a circus of hypocritical politicians, allies and enemies alike.

dear LK, She still a woman by heart..a mother and a loving wife. It just happened that she's a politician,so her life becomes a public one. I even admired her for being brave...she gone through a lot of trials,she's indeed a strong woman..

Yes, i really admire Senator Santiago, for having the guts to have those enemies and foes have fun at her wedding anniversary. Imagine Erap and Arroyo, greeting each other? (Plastics? ) Then, again the priest tackling some parts about the RH bill? Good thing, Sen. Santiago really uses civility. I must say, i congratulate her for being married to her husband for 40 years! It seems her husband is just smiling and smiling.

Yep, I was surprised too see almost all the politicians their that are enemies. I wonder if Mirriam was up to something. Well, I hope not. I can see the vows went well and so far no political issues were involved. Same with the media, no so much intrigues. She indeed made a good idea of inviting all of them. Just like what you said, unite them at least in one day.

I feel so privileged to have spoken to the good senator a few years ago when I was still active with the Rotary club and she was our guest speaker. She arrived in Alabang country club wearing a golden dress, yes shining like gold , she seems to have an aura that when you get too near it would melt you, she approached our table and I was praying oh my God I hope she does not sit beside me ( there was a vacant chair)cause I would not know what to do or say, I'll be overwhelmed, well she did and I remember she had a very profound vocabulary and you have to listen very well when she's speaking to catch up, haha I remember her asking me if I was Bisaya (from the Visayas) because she read my name tag that we wore during meetings. What surprised me were the guests in her Marital vow, I wonder how they could stand putting up smiling faces like that, what I mean is Erap and Arroyo, Pnoy and Imelda Marcos, and many more, it's like everybody is pretending or something, I do not think she was after unity,otherwise her nemesis FVR should have been invited.
