Hello Lotters, It's just hard to believe this woman. Despite of her being a high profile and aggressive talks in the senate, she still has time to celebrate her Marital Vows with her hubby. She's a tough woman, despite the fact she lost a son who committed suicide and some rumored her to have gone crazy or lost some nuts and bolts of her brain. but she's brave and funny at the same time. NOt only that it's suprisingly that enemies and foes in politics were all together in this anniversary. what a way to unite them, at least in one day

I agree with you tigeraunt. I never expected for CGMA, Erap, and PNoy to be in same place at the same time. Speaking of PNoy, DYK that PNoy was together with Heart Evangelista at the wedding procession? Talk about the age gap .

Hello tigeraunt, well, that's just the way it is. maybe for us but it's just normal for them because they have been in conversationwith each other. so, i think it's not a circus on their part. besides, it's just a celebration to boot.

Hi! I did not see the exchange of vows but I read about it in the internet. It's really amazing. Senator Miriam is amazing. I'm one of her supporters and I really think she's a genius. And now that I've learned that her marriage is as strong as it was, my admiration for her has went up to the next level. She's really different. I salute her. I will vote for her the next time she runs for whatever position!

Hello secretbear, Well, that's probably because she didn't allow it for some reason.she is indeed a genius but sometimes her talks are with out substance like jumping on an airplane but she said she lied. unfortunately, she could have been one of the best Presidents instead of GLoria Arroyo.

Orocan. WE call all the politician attended the wedding as Orocan. Orocan plastic.Tupper ware. Anyway, yes i do agree that Mirriam is funny and very frank. Maybe despite of what happened in the past, the struggle she had faced she already moved on from that. She believes that there is life after the storm. However, inviting those enemies in politics are very doubtful. Maybe she want something to happen in the future. I cannot explain but I am having second thoughts of that all enemies and foes of politics are there. They are united there physically, but spiritually they want to hold a knife and stab one another.

Hello grecychunny, I guess i can consider it a Mirriam's Orocan Wedding well, it's her anniversary and those from the politics just step aside their differences for the sake of her celebration. there is nothing wrong from attending an event regardless of our suspicions about their objectives there. have a nice day

Whenever Mirriam's name is mentioned - may it be in the newspaper or tv - I am always looking forward to hearing what she's going to say because she is very empowered and as a woman, I feel proud and empowered as well because of her intelligence. She has received a lot of criticisms yet she remained standing on her ground - firm and prepared. During her wedding ceremony, I was proud that she was the only one who gathered all rivals in politics and even in business. Though I felt awkward watching it - but I am very proud of her. Cheers to Mirriam.

Hello totally undecided. It's hard to believe for her to be standing there after all these years. i'd wish Gordon didn't run for Presidency and remained in the Senate instead. now, all i see a smarters there are Defensor, J.Arroyo or Enrile but Madam mirriam is more reasonable and logical in most occassions with a sense of a bit humor. yeah, she's un believable.

Hello Chiyosan, SHe is serious but some of her remarks can really be considered as a political joke around it. unfortunately, i want her to nail down more corruption politicians. the only thing i was mad about her was when she boycott the hearing against Villar because she's also a member of a villar's Nacionalista Party

Yep, I was surprised too see almost all the politicians their that are enemies. I wonder if Mirriam was up to something. Well, I hope not. I can see the vows went well and so far no political issues were involved. Same with the media, no so much intrigues. She indeed made a good idea of inviting all of them. Just like what you said, unite them at least in one day.

Hello Adnileb, It's hard to believe she actually invited them to her wedding anniversary or simply they went there. it's nice though they decided to let go what ever political differences they have and then move on to support a fellow politicians happiness in celebration of matrimonial vows. they are all popular there

Hello sis, Despite of her lost of the son she is still astrong woman. she prove to the country that she can move on with her life despite of the trials in her. not to mention her concern when manny is intervening the RH Bill problem. she is truly an inspiration and a role model for women in our country

i have nothing against the senator but the whole celebration is all political to me. well, of course, she is inside the political arena, but the celebration that is supposed to be solemn and private looked like a circus of hypocritical politicians, allies and enemies alike.

Hello bingskee, Well, it is political indeed, can't be showbiz because that would really really weird to me. it is indeed solemn and done in the church. probably the senator did not strict the media from covering her wedding. i have only watch it in the news after the wedding, probably she didn't want the entire wedding covered.

I feel so privileged to have spoken to the good senator a few years ago when I was still active with the Rotary club and she was our guest speaker. She arrived in Alabang country club wearing a golden dress, yes shining like gold , she seems to have an aura that when you get too near it would melt you, she approached our table and I was praying oh my God I hope she does not sit beside me ( there was a vacant chair)cause I would not know what to do or say, I'll be overwhelmed, well she did and I remember she had a very profound vocabulary and you have to listen very well when she's speaking to catch up, haha I remember her asking me if I was Bisaya (from the Visayas) because she read my name tag that we wore during meetings. What surprised me were the guests in her Marital vow, I wonder how they could stand putting up smiling faces like that, what I mean is Erap and Arroyo, Pnoy and Imelda Marcos, and many more, it's like everybody is pretending or something, I do not think she was after unity, otherwise her nemesis FVR should have been invited.

Hello louievill, I don't think FVR would go there knowing those two are hard core rivals. it could ruin Madam mirriams wedding day. I remember her during my ROTC days in college. we were the one who welcomed her in our military uniform. but that's because there wasn't enough men to have a strong parade on it.. It's surprising that both Erap and Arroyo was also there.

Yes, i really admire Senator Santiago, for having the guts to have those enemies and foes have fun at her wedding anniversary. Imagine Erap and Arroyo, greeting each other? (Plastics? ) Then, again the priest tackling some parts about the RH bill? Good thing, Sen. Santiago really uses civility. I must say, i congratulate her for being married to her husband for 40 years! It seems her husband is just smiling and smiling.
