Profile page describes the creativeness of mylot members!

I do not necessarily check out a person's profile page when I accept a friend request, although I probably should. As you said, it would be a good way to learn a little more about the person and find out whether or not you have things in common. I will check out the profile page of someone that I enjoy interacting with, though, to see what discussions they have started or responded to if I think that we might have similar tastes in discussion topics.

You are so inundated with friend requests that you can't keep up and have to keep some in "pending" until you decide what to do with them, and I barely get any. I think that I should feel inferior or something. Either I am doing something very wrong and am not the "friendly" type or perhaps I am doing something very right and keeping all the spammers away.

I do not like to turn anyone but I must admit that I am very overwhelmed by the number of daily requests I get. I sadly started to leave some in pending only because I do not want to instantly reject. See if I have no knowledge of their topics then they will feel like I am ignoring them after accepting FR. Then there are the many that start topic after topic and never comment back to any responders. No matter how many times I leave responses with the great tips, many still never comment back so I can't help but wonder why do they FR to begin with.

That is how I felt for a long time as well. I can only be on here for a limited amount of time, and I didn't want to "waste" the time I had here doing something that wasn't going to earn me any money. Finally, I got bored looking at my uninteresting profile page, so I made it at least a little bit "pretty" just to give it a little personality.

When I joined Mylot, I never took time to check my profile page. But when I got to know there are many stuffs we can do on profile, i felt why not? You are right, we don't have time to neat up the profile. But for a change of time, we can spend on it and make it creativity!

@purplealabaster, even i thought i had very less time to spend here. But when i see others making their profile so lovely, i feel why not spend a day and make it better. It feels nice!

Thank you for noticing, HWG. I chose that shade on purpose, because I thought that it matched perfectly with my beautiful purple blooms. I also really like the contrast of the bright yellow on the banner with the dark purple. I know that the banner is irrelevant, but since everyone else had one I thought that perhaps I should have one as well.

Purple borders with purple blooms adds up so well. Now I have seen in yours of how good you can make use of yellow. Good one!

I just took a look at yours and might I say that I like the purple borders. Hmm seem to match your lovely petunias, so no I would not change anything you have there.

Hi Sir, Yes even I felt initially i would not be knowing, but as i tried slowly it was nice and user friendly. Simple profile page is good. The other members profiles are so awesome and inspired me to start on profile pages. Cheers!!

Hi Soccerbai, You are right! Even I love pink and i feel that add a decent lovely look. Well creativeness in the sense, like adding favorite quotes, about yourself in best way, even banners i find members making it very attractive and different. Creative minds!!
