no job

I currently have a part time job but we are losing one of my stylists who bring in the most money. Since I'm one of two that work there on hourly pay I was recently told that I probably wouldn't be able to stay onboard. Now, with that being said, I've been trying to figure out what I'm going to do for money if I lose this job. I don't know of any places around here that are hiring or that have flexible hours for school schedules - mine changes every semester - and I also know that a lot of people have been applying to the surrounding businesses and no one is hiring. I feel like I'm out of luck but my boss hasn't told me if I am staying or not. Other than getting another part time job what other things can I do to make money. I'll be babysitting on Monday's but it will only be $15 which isn't enough to really support me. Luckily I live at home and I don't have any major bills, but I do have to buy textbooks for the fall semester as well as pay for the remaining balance on my classes and I have to pay for my own gas. Do you think tutoring would be unrealistic with this economy? I was going to put up a flyer at the library saying I could tutor or babysit in the local area. I just need to make some money, even if it's only $20 here and there. I think I'm going to apply for substitution for the surrounding schools but that wouldn't start until the fall. I guess my question here would have to be, are there any sites that pay almost immediately, I know of one survey site but it takes a long time to build up points just to wait a week to see that money come into my paypal. I also need something that doesn't take 10 minutes just to find out if I qualify. If any of you have legit sites where you've made fast money, please direct me there. I know it's not enough to pay for everything but every little bit helps!

Why don't you try babysitting everyday? You could take your books over and squeeze in an hour or so of study. Also, if you are a US resident, try writing for Textbroker. People have made $150 in the first week alone. All the best and everything will work out soon.

There are many jobs especially online jobs if you are US residents. Free gifts, cards, and so on. But you just have to find a legit one. Some people earn $100 every month online and I think you can too! Giving tuition is also a best way to improve ourselves as we are upgrading ourselves every now and then. Because we spend time going to bookstore and surfing internet for information. Good Luck!

sorry to hear about the possibility of you losing your job. why dont you try freelance sites like odesk.com or freelancer.com and i heard there's a new one called minifreelance. a believe a lot of employers there look for people with English as their first language so dont forget to mention that on your profile.

we're on the same boat somehow. i'll be going to school this august or september and i'll do all the paying. since im a single mom i cant take jobs other than online jobs which is not a good option as well. (im super tired of searching for a legit and decent paying online job) that's why i just thought i'll start my own small business. a few weeks ago i have bought my very first sewing machine. step2 for me is to look foe money to buy shirts, cloths and other accessories i'll be needing. though i only need a small amount i dont know where to get that money. i already have tons of orders from my friends alone, im really hoping i could fix this fast.
