A new con to MyLot

Maybe some of you haven't noticed, but I want to get opinions about this. A few days ago, while surfing PTC-Investigation, I noticed a change that almost go unperceived among the many updates. The site has added a new "con" to MyLot, which is on their elite list for some years now. It says something about unexplained account "deactivations". I will better copy-paste it instead of trying to explain it on my own: 2. Inactive Accounts / Banned - Several have reported that their accounts are marked as inactive. An inactive account does not necessarily mean that you are inactive. It could also mean you are banned from the site. Unfortunately mylot is not giving any notice or explanations for these account being banned. People are left wondering what exactly caused them to be banned. Thus the guessing game begins and confusion over what happened to their account. MyLot does not answer or reply to those who are showing "inactive" accounts. On their forum, a few members are saying about those unexplained deactivations/banning. Looking at here, I can't find anyone who complained about that, which makes me think about this. What are those "deactivations" refer to? Are they talking about the 90 days inactive period to delete earnings? Or is something else? I would greatly appreciate comments and experiences from all of you. And if possible, I would like to see what a moderator/admin/owner has to say about this and if that posting on the trusted reviewing site is true. Share opinions!!

I'm not sure about what's real with this, but regarding the lost earnings..there's one here complaining that the site's been hacked. Link's below. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2543429.aspx Still, I hope that everyone of us would get an answer to this.

Well, I'm currently participating cause there are some people stating myLot facts in an amusing way. It's really enjoying that I'm able to participate naturally. :)

Seems too much for me saying it's hacked! Of course, members saying that don't know a little of what MyLot is and its rules, so they're saying anything just to complain without any real reason to. My discussion wasn't meant to comply against that, but rather to those "supposedly unexplained" user banned. As I has never seen any serious complain like that and seems a serious accusation which make me curious. Of course, if you has been inactive for 90 days, well, so sorry but it's clearly stated that you'll lose everything.

When we register with myLot we agree to the TermsofUse. Many do this without even reading them, then don't bother to read the Guidelines or the FAQs either. Then they use myLot and do things which yhey shouldnot be doing here and one day they fonf themselves banned. They then go to sites like the one you mention and complain. Or they write articles on other sites saying that myLot is a scam. It seems that nowadays any news which is negative gets more headlines than postiive news, sadly, so they get more space for their complaints than those happy Lotters who have nothing whatosever to moan about. If you check the TermsofUse: http://www.mylot.com/o/terms.aspx and our admin's profile: http://www.mylot.com/goaskalice you will see that, when a user loses their account, myLot will only speak directly with them about it and not with others. At this point they, the users who can no longer use their accounts, can choose to tell everyone whatever they like. They can say that myLot doesn't respond to them. They can say that they did nothing wrong and were unfairly banned. They could also tell the truth (something which would cause them to have less people listen to them though) and inform that they were plagiarising/had multiple accounts/more than one user was using their account/they were abusing the DRS/they had false information in their profiles and/or many more things too. The facts are: a) that ONLY myLot and themselves will ever know the truth b) if a user loses the use of their account they did not comply to the TermsofUse.

That would really suck if this was true. I've actually left this site quite a few times for longer than 90 days. I actually just came back from my myLot hiatus just two days ago! Hopefully this isn't true or I'd be losing a lot of money that took me a lot of time to get!

Oh wow. That is not good at all. It's ashamed that would be. I just don't understand why would be explained like that without explaining it fully, so people could understand? This is so sad.
