I am on the swim team, and it helps me a lot with my classes and my homework. I take all AP and Duel Enrollment classes, which is very stressful on me, so when I go to practice and am forced to forget everything else and only think of my strokes, it's very relaxing and helpful.

I really like swimming. I started my swim lessons when I was a kid and, since then, I never stoped. When I was a kid/teenager I used to participate in swimming competitions, but nowadays I only swim to relax and lose weight. Also, when I feel stressed or really mad, I just go to the pool and everything seems better. The only problem is that when I leave the pool, I'm very hungry and eat everything that I find in my front. :)

I agree with you. Swimming is the best exercise for me. I have scoliosis and it helps relieve my back from pain. The strokes in swimming increases my back muscle strength and prevents the curve fro getting worse. It also makes my lungs and immune system stronger. I used to compete in college and I miss the thrill of swim competitions. My son love swimming too. It is his favorite sport and he's really good at it. I hope we can swim everyday but there is no covered pool near our house. Too much sun exposure is not healthy for the skin. My son is fair-skinned so he burns easily even if he has sunblock spf 75 on. Summer is almost here in our country and swimming will be popular again.

Yes, swimming is the best form of exercise where you can enjoy and really have fun. Last summer, my daughter and her cousin did enroll in swimming lessons. I see them so excited and never wanted to be absent even though they are getting darker and darker each day.Luckily, they both lose a minimal weight before the opening of classes. They promised they will enroll again next summer.
