hi guys i just quite noticed the numbers that was indicated in mylot, I have only 66 it means i was still new here. But when i saw some other member it goes up like 22,100 above, it means they were long time here???it was surprisingly some members when you checked there profile how many question they answered you would be amazed because it range to 20,000 above...WOW...that was great and awesome, i hope my profile would be like that, because in a day i only replied to the discussion 3-5 topics in a row I just curious who was the pioneer of mylot, the first person used mylot???maybe if knew before mylot i would joined on this site, i don't know where i when mylot was established...

hi honeymalen the numbers 88 show you are fairly new here but are f ailry active as shown by that 88. I have been here going on four years and since I am retired I have a lot of time. Thus I am very active here and I have the largest number of all mylotters some 42000 points showing I have been very active here. I am astounded that right now I am the leader of all mylotters here in ranking just because I have tons of time and so mylot a lot, really a lot.The numbers do not really show how long anyone had been here since some have not been here very long but post big numbers because they mylot a lot each day.I think I was told mylot started some six years ago. welcome to mylot

It is the star that affects earnings, not the user rating (the number by your name). We do not earn more just because we have been more active. Possibly we earn better because we are more active and have understood what to do to make our posts the way that myLot want them and we have learnt that we must discuss rather than just post.

it,s a nice info diana..By the way does the earning here depends on the point you have?I mean to say the rate of earning for the same amount of typing

Everyone has already explained about the participation points. Continue to have fun and be active and in no time your bracket numbers increase so fast you will not even notice how quickly they do. I have been here for a year and am still to date having fun and enjoying the site. A warm welcome to you and hope we can hear back from you as this way you too can continue enjoying the site. Best of luck!

@ honeymalen the only way to achieve the numbers is not really worrying about them. Enjoy your time here and allow the rest like points and earnings to flow. Many at times do not believe this and spend their time worrying about their earnings and numbers and it all ends up being a chore in which they do not enjoy. Therefore it becomes such a chore that they give up and or only come here sporadically. So the best advice as mysd always says is to simply have fun on myLot!

Well, things are pretty clear. If you have enough free time, an internet connection without limits and some sufficient knowledge of English you can work in MyLot so much that you will soon have many posts too. But better don't keep counting your posts, they will not increase that fast, but try to socialize and discuss on everything that seems interesting and they will soon start adding up. I also find it quite impressive for someone to have so many responses, but it doesn't come with few work you know.

As in the all above response you can find that it represent the activity of a user..that how much he used mylot, I don't think I need to be descriptive in this case.

No you don't need to explain. It is very evident what those numbers mean.

the numbers in your profile does not represent your tenureship on the site but the discussions that you have posted, and responded. in short, it shows how active you are on the site.

Your numbers represent your activity. I have about 260 or close to it. I've just been here for a few days. I'm quite active. People with big numbers are the veterans of this site. I hope to get to that status one day.

Not all of the users with high numbers are necessarily veteran Lotters. I joined 4 years ago but our friend HWG joined only a year ago - and she has overtaken many of us, including me! She is so active a posting everywhere daiy - and it shows!

Hi Aunt D! Thank you for setting us straight. I hope to be a give enough to land on the first page of Users By Ratings in a year or two. I'm up to about 300 now and it's been about a week. I'm having such fun too.

I think the number on the names indicate post count. Notice that it increments by 1 each time you post a comment on any of the threads. I'm pretty sure that's what the numbers stand for. :) Good day!

That number indicates how active a user is but it is NOT a post count because it does not include all of our activity here. It increases when we: - start a new discussion (after it receives 2 responses or 1 response + 1 comment) - respond for the first time on a discussion started by others - comment for the dirst time on a discussion started by others. It decreases when pour oosts are deleted due to vviolations. ALL of our activity counts towards earnings but is not all in that number.

This number shows how many discussions and responses you have posted here. So you have to work hard and until you have posted 500 here, then you can upload image to your discussions and responses. Meanwhile you can take advantage of the copy and paste feature. I love China

I have been here just over 4 years and I never ever thought that I would have such a high number. When i am here I just join in all over the place, day after day and they all add up. We have a friend here who joined just a year ago and her number is already higher than mine! If you enjoy it here then you will make friends and you will not want to be anywhere else either - especially once you have your own payment proof Welcome to myLot!

Hi mysd and amrinerpulak I think I was mentioned here. I am hoping we hear back from our new member here, so that the member understands that they are not earning unless they comment back.

The number next to your name is your reputation, such as how much you participate and how helpful or informative your posts are.

Hello honeymalen, These are number of responses you gave for unique discussion.Remember your number don't move if you give response to one discussion 2 or more. It means have you seen it or not Mrs Hatley has given the most number of responses here on MYLOT. You should refer to FAQs for more knowledge.Any time you feel some confusion it is always better to read FAQs as it will give you information then anyone here can give.
