Teflon Li-Lo? - If anyone did half of what Lindsay Lohan had done to offend the legal system of California they would be cooling their heels either in jail or a prison cell.

If anyone did half of what Lindsay Lohan had done to offend the legal system of California they would be cooling their heels either in jail or a prison cell. Again and again Lohan avoids the slam of the steel door. Is this because there is an overcrowding of the jails and prisons? Perhaps is it because there is a different standard for Lohan than there is for the poor and unknown?

I believe it's a double standard for celebrities. She's famous and makes headlines so of course she can pay off the bails and everything, but she should be held responsible for her actions like everyone else. It's not fair to the rest of the world.

When she looses her looks, things will change. If she keeps up her wild ways, her looks will go down the gutter. Ugly or plain people are treated much more harshly then the so called 'beautiful' people.

The situation does make one wonder about the standards. She is always in the headlines. Sometimes being famous backfires and they get worse treatment, but it seems to me that more often they get privileged treatment since they are well known.

Tell me about it. The powers that be claim that sense the jail's overcrowded, she gets house arrest, so she does it in a multi-million dollar beach house where she holds parties.

I don't know what's happening to US system but they arrest people who released animals, although in an illegal way but those guys are heroes and put in jail for 10 YEARS while pedoaphiles get away or like celebrities just do community job when the same crime done by 'regular' people might put them on jail...So unfair. Lindsay Lohan is showing disrespect, she's laughing at the system as it seems and the whole world can see this.

There's one justice system for the rich and famous and one for the rest of us proles.
