I love to decorate cakes. I want to open my own business. I think it is so relaxing. Do you have any training?

i do. my aunt bakes the most delicious cakes ever, but she's not very good in decorating them, so i try to help out whenever i can. sometimes, i get my ideas from the internet, too, but usually, i have to make do with whatever supplies are available here.

A friend of mine in high school had a dream one night that that is how I would make my living, decorating cakes. Whilst i have only worked in a bakery atmosphere for one day in my life, i havent found her dreamy notion to be too lucrative.I am a painter however, and I don't mind decorating cakes, it's fun.

Yes I do enjoy decorating cakes. When my kids were little I use to make really nice cakes on their birthdays and on holidays. We made an Easter Bunny cake one year and the kids were soooo excited. Once on the 4th of July we decorated a cake like a flag. That one turned out really good also.
