Yes. I worry about weight. It is going down. The main reason I can think of is nowadays I do not eat milk sweets as I use to in the earlier years. otherwise no problems. Fat people of course have to avoid fatty foods and do more exercise.

I don't worry to a sense where I think I need to loose any weight. I am very thin but it is a result of a lot of effort and healthy eating. I made a really great life change eating and for life. I was never big but I decided to stop the roller coasting dieting/starving, lol.. and get really serious. Therefore, for 3 years now I am fit as a fiddle, in fact I had to cut back on the exercising now and do so only for cardio, as I do not want to look anorexic. I eat 3- 4 meals a day and drink lot of water. I lost 70lbs and had to now maintain as I am way too thin. My lifestyle change has increased my metabolism, therefore, I can eat what I like though I am careful not to over indulge. I must say though that if you smell like a mars bar, many will be tempted to chew a bite.

Wow great to hear this Scarface that you are continually working at staying fit. Me too, I work hard to assure that I eat right and exercise is part of my life. ajk, it is never too late to start my friend and once you do it has to be a complete life eating habit change.

Easy solution... send your wife on a well-deserved round the world cruise so she cant cook for you & sell your car so you have to walk to the shops Yes, my weight does concern me - from a health point of view since I have a family history of pretty much all risk factors. I'm near enough 10 years older than you but, luckily, my husband is a bit of a cr*p cook!!! I do like to get out for walks & try really hard to eat healthily. I find keeping a food diary works because I'm very honest when I write down what I've eaten and there is no way I want to be writing "big bag of chips, chocolate biscuits...etc " Slice that Mars bar up very thinly and eat one little slice at a time.....

Good ideas. Wish I had a cook and a trainer.

"A podgy wodgy blubber bag"? I do worry about my weight a little, especially since I injured my back and can't exercise. Well, OK, so I didn't do much anyway but now I can't, so it's different. Thankfully, I have a ludicrously efficient metabolism that allows me to eat pizza every day and not gain weight. Probably because I was a wee bit, er, podgy wodgy when I was young and got ribbed about it so much that I determined never to let it happen again. The fact that I do freelance work, am a full-time carer AND look after almost everything in the house probably helps burn calories. And I suck at cooking, even though I do it every day. Inedible food is a great weight-loss tool.

You should stop feeding pizza to your goldfish... (I just finished an entire pack of chocolate digestives, by the way! )

Fat is an adjective like tall and thin. You are what you are and it takes time and effort to change. On the light side of things FAT isn't a bad thing. Here's what FAT stands for: Faithful Attentive Teachable It's all in how you look at yourself.

Yep! It's all in how you look at yourself. Everything is based on perspective. Mind over matter. Stop thinking your fat and focus on the good things about you then you'll feel you are getting thinner and thinner. Haha! As you said, FAT isn't a bad thing, THINKING AND BEING CONSCIOUS that you are fat is the bad thing!

It took me many many years and spent a lot of money feeding my body to what it is today and everyone of my friends are 'envious' of how my hourglass body changed to an adorable humpty dumpty. I am not worried of my weight as long as I am in clean bill of health. Big is beautiful anywhere.

I do NOT care how fat you are...I LOVE YOU ANYWAY!!! Now to answer your question...NO, I don't worry about being fat!!! I probably should, but I come from a long line of "chunky in the bunky" women who lived well into their 80s & 90s!!! The best way I've found to lose weight is to NOT eat after 6:00 pm. Of course, now that you've mentioned smelling a mars bar, I'm gonna havta to drive up to the local convenience store & buy one!!!!

Hi there, I am worrying about my weight as well.. I have gained annoying 10 pounds since the holiday season. I can no longer wear some of my outfits from my favorite apparel stores.. it sucks bigtime! i don't want to be overweight again so I have decided to start my diet plan. i have started dieting three weeks ago and i lost already 2 pounds, thank God! however, it is not enough... my goal is losing 10 more pounds... I miss being skinny... Having a perfectly shaped body will definitely make me more confident about myself... If i were you, I would do the same thing... do some simple exercises at home and start eating healthy! goodluck to you ajk! :)

I am overweight, and am just over half way through the process of losing all of my excess weight. I have lost 54lbs so far, and have 51lbs left to go. I hope that I will be able to get rid of all of the weight before the end of the year, as I do not want to go into 2012 still being overweight. I just watch what I eat. You can still have treats, but just don't eat as many as you would have done in the past. Exercise is excellent, as it means that you burn off some of what you eat, so you don't have to restrict yourself as much.

I heard somewhere that as long as one skips dinner all's well. I do exactly that. I eat well during the day and stop looking at 'mars bars' by 5 in the evening with just a cup of hot milk before I hit my pillow. It has helped me in that my BMI is within norms. There seems to be some logic there as eating dinner retains one calories with no exercise to burn them.

I am younger than you, and I felt the same way. I am fat, and I used to be thin, and good looking on my body. Now, I am lack of exercise, and I feel shame on my stomach, and other part of my body. They are just too much meat, and too much protein surround them.

Hey! You should be giving that mars bar to me instead! Haha! To answer your question, I certainly worry about my weight. However, my worries is the opposite of yours! I want to gain weight and beef up my body, so I could use that mars bar of yours to help me out. If only you can transfer that fat of yours to me, then everybody would be happy.

Well. Im the direct opposite of you. I'm am very very thin. Like as stick insect. I want to gain weight but i keep failing at it. Everytime I eat i try to eat a lot. However, there is a "mechanism" in my body by which when i over it, my stomach hurts like hell. There after I get gastric, acid reflux and stuff. Are mars bars really that great? I kind of prefer M&M. Manufactured by the same company now, after they combined business.

I am a woman and I am a vain one. It was sometime ago that I threw caution to the wind and didnt care what I ate and how much and I grew sideways like never before. I do not like what I saw in the mirror so I am taking steps to lose weight. I am 43 but I still think that it is not too late. I saw a lady neighbour who was 5 years my senior and she began to take care of what she ate and now she looks so much younger, its amazing. About the sacrifice, yes it is horrible. I kept myself thinking that I have eaten all that (and yes I am referring to the mars bar) when I was young so also because of health I should be keeping my ideal weight.

Getting fat isn't a bad thing. I mean I used to play sports so what I did all the time during the summer because it was winter sport, was I gained weight and then started to workout so that I can turn the fat into muscle and then I got big. If you exercise you can fine. By the way I am getting fat too, and I do not think I will be able to loose this weight that I am gaining now.
