i always use to eat chocolates and i use to enjoy eating them but now i think from last one month or one and a half month, i just dont like the sight of chocolates. i just can taste dark chocolate but no chocolate milk shakes, no chocolate ice cream, o smoothies, no brownies, nothing, nothing means seriously nothing. it is really amazing for me too because i use to eat chocolates like food. my hubby says that my body is full with chocolate now and now it has started wanting food, so i should start eating food and taking milk and juices. can any of you tell me why is this change in my body ?

I have never had this problem as I love chocolate! I do not eat it all the time though so that might make a difference. I enjoy chocolate any time of the year though. I know hormone changes can effect how chocolate tastes almost so maybe you will like it again.

I love chocolate too! I never get sick of chocolate, but I do get sick of salty stuff. I used to love chips.. and I loved Ramen noodles.. now I can't eat the Ramen noodles... I'm just sick of them.

I noticed you wrote a post on Flaxseed. After 40 years of chocolate being my favorite food, I too developed a sudden lack of interest if not distaste for chocolate. The only change in my diet has been the addition of Flaxseed and Omega-3s. In addition to no longer caring for chocolate, my nails grew thicker and I stopped biting them. Do you think the dislike for chocolate may be related to your flaxseed consumption? Do you have the same correlation in your diet?

For me better so that it can't cause you more diabetes and ruin your teeth.

Could be due to hormonal changes or pregnancy ! During my first pregnancy i hated the aroma of chicken cooked in any form .Now chicken tops the list of my favorite foods.Keep away from chocolates for few days you`ll definitely start carving for them.Your husband is correct your system is now loaded with chocolates feed it with food now !Your internal system wants a change ,fulfil its requirements with fresh fruits and veggies dear !

I felt the same way just this weekend. I got tired of eating sweets in particular and sometimes I can only have enough of chocolates in one sitting. I remember my used-to-be non-stop love for chocolates and I love them while drinking my cup of coffee especially as desserts. I used to prefer chocolates to fruits after a meal. I guess, it's still true until now. Well, back to last weekend, after having too much chocolates in a day or two, I suddenly wanted to eat something sour. Maybe our taste buds change their preferences or this sudden dislike on chocolates is your body's way of saying that you have had enough of it and that you don't need any more sugar in your body.

May be because your body asking for something new and other food to absorb. Our body is very intelligent to send a message tpo our brainbs what they really need that's why we are craving for something to eat. You ate too much chocolate and I can't believe that you did that. I only eat 1 small bar of chocolate a day and I don't want to ruin my voice and tonsils. I'm sure there will be a time that you will crave for another chocolate to eat. Good day! God bless!

Hard to say, could be a switch in hormones. Or it could just mean you are sick of eating it. I used to eat chocolate all the time, but I found out in March that I am diabetic so I have pretty much stopped eating it because I am trying to lose weight. If I lose 17 pounds I will be at my ideal weight and I won't have to take any medication. It was hard at first not eating chocolate but now I am fine with out it.

Hey there, I have the same ecperience too. There is this cold lemon tea thingy here that we can buy in packets, I used to love it so much and drank it everyday and never got bored of it. I didn't drink it for about two days and now I don' feel like drinking it at all. Strange but yeah, maybe I got sick of it or something. So maybe you got sick of eating chocolates always I guess.

Hi Aweins, I think you just got your fill of chocolate and you got tired of it. I still love chocolate unfortunately... I wish I could not like it anymore though... but I am that way on some salty things. I love chips, but now I don't want anything that salty anymore.. I just got tired of it.

You've probably tired of eating chocolates. Try another type of chocolates or leave them for a while until you feel like eating again
