As we know Amazon.com has to be one of the best websites out there to buy stuff off. Firstly the customer service is great, they ship quickly and are online 24/7 to handle any questions. They sell almost everything possible, their prices are great and to top things off there are many sites that give rewards in the form of Amazon gift cards. I recently joined Amazon prime and I am loving it. Well worth the cost of $75/year. Shipping is super quick, I never pay for shipping, I have access to 1000's of videos and movies through the website. Anyone else use Amazon prime or been thinking about it?

If you buy fairly often from Amazon then it is for sure worth the effort and little expense to have this feature.

I'm sure it is worth it for people who shop there regularly. I ordered a big box of toilet paper and they only sent me one pack when it was supposed to be six packs...I called them and they made it right right away and sent me 6 and did not charge me for the extra one that was a mistake.

I have seriously been thinking about joining Amazon Prime as I buy lots of stuff every year from them and like you I probably pay more then $75 in shipping yearly. I was a bit skeptical at first wondering if it was really worth that amount of money. It seems it is worth it from what you are saying. Any other details I might need to know about before I decided to buy it? I am seriously thinking about it now.

You get a month free to try it out, what more could you ask for? I bought a bit from them and it arrived 3 days later at my door. Before joining I would save up a few more gift cards to ensure you have more to spend and it works out better for you etc.

I use Amazon Prime as well but since I am a member or Amazon Mom I am currently getting the service free. IIRC you get 3 months free than an extra month for every $25 you spend. With the cost of diapers, wipes and organic baby food, it adds up quick. Its also $25 based off of the original price, not any discounted price. For example if I pay $15 for my daughters diapers but the actual cost per box is $26. So even though am charged $15, I still get a free moth.

I don't always have giftcards, but when I do, I use them. Items are so much cheaper with the 30% discount than in stores without coupons though. Counts for any baby or toddler item in their "baby" store.

That is awesome, I know others who get it for free with Amazon moms as well. I assume you also use gift cards to help cover the costs? I always wondered, buying baby toys would help qualify for the Amazon moms or only diapers and baby food?

I have had amazon prime in the past, but don't currently have it now. My sister who buys all her text books of if it loves it. For the most part on amazon I never buy something that I can't wait 2 days for the super saver shipping, but as I am earning amazon GC's online now I may start ordering regular every-day things off of amazon. If I do that I will probably re-join amazon prime.

What I enjoy about them is the free shipping. I can buy headphones for $4 and not pay shipping etc so it's worth it for me. The thing I would stress is save those gift cards as it means you would be buying more. I should buy Amazon shares with the rate I am purchasing from them, I am for sure boosting revenue hehe.

Hi TeamCholent, I haven’t joined Amazon Prime. I don’t think it would be worth $75 for me to join it, because I would never get my money’s worth. I order from there a few times a year… I just ordered from there last week to get a package to my sister for her birthday. Anything over $25 is free shipping I think.. or close to that amount anyway… I order food on there with my swag bucks and that is the only time that I shop from amazon.com is when I have earned amazon cards. Have a great day!

Haha, if you are buying items 3 times a year than for sure it is not worth it. I get roughly $50/month in gift cards nevermind everything I buy in general. What food do you buy off Amazon?
