Do you have unseen helpers in life?

I have help all I need to do is ask. I first became aware of this help when I was a very young child. When ever we would try to find a parking place in a crowded parking lot, my Mother would tell us just think very hard what we need and ask for help. My brother and I would do this along with my Mom and sure enough in a very short time there would be a parking spot. This got me in the habit of asking for unseen help. If I lose something I ask, the lost item shows up soon after that, when I need extra help in facing something, pretty soon I am calm and ready to face it. I am very careful and never ask what may not be meant to be, only help in facing life. Now you cn say well this is all in your mind, maybe, but I think I have outside help.

Throughout my life I've always been one to pray for help when I need it. Most times, the things that I need in my life come true. However, until recently I've never realized the magnitude that requests reach. For example, in Tom's battle with cancer I've told people about it and I know that there are people thata are praying for his well being from places near and far and many people that I've never even had the opportunity to meet. I know that all of those people are unseen helpers.

There is infinite power in prayer/good thoughts. Every time we wish something positive for someone the thought wings its way like an arrow to that person's heart! We are all connected and part of one great Universal family, loved beyond imagining!

I’ve been doing that for years! I ask all the time and almost always I receive what I ask for. The important lesson for me has been to learn to ask for what my heart desires without worrying about how it is going to happen but live my best life instead. By the way I get good parking spaces all the time, although not always the one I thought I was going to get!

Hi, Well said. Helping tendency is something which should be a part of every human being around. I have helped many people around apart from my family members and friends. In fact, am very excited and interested to help others. I get a satisfaction that I have done something good to make others feel happy or satisfied because of the particular thing expected by them was fulfilled through me. Helping others is very important part of a good character. And am not afraid to ask for help even. But my parents would advice me not to ask for help to strangers but if we are caught up in a unknown place, what we need to get rid of it is that to think how smartly we can sought out help rather than, will this person cheat on us. So, everything depends upon the the way we behave. Let us help others and get it in return as well. Happy mylotting

Hi savypat, just reading your discussion reminds me of the relationship with God. The way you explain your unseen helper, is the same as the Holy Spirit dwelling in side of you. For the scripture says "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you." John 15:7 Yes, I have outside help.

I can relate to what you are talking about..I think it is wise to be carefuk what we ask for. Sometimes when it presents itself, it's not in the way we thought it would be...same ending..different means.

I think you were very lucky. Now I am going to play your unseen help, by advising you to be careful when you send a response, make sure you only send the full response once. Your's came through three times and only the last one was more than one word. I know you are new and it takes time to learn to use this site, you might want to read the rules again. But whatever you do, welcome to mylot and keep on posting, you'll get the things right soon. We were all new once and had to learn. Blessings

Hi savypat, I feel that you are right and think that we all have unseen helpers if we only but ask. I always ask for help when I lose something and have had some quite amazing experiences. Many of the great writers of the past claimed to have gotten unseen help in their work so you are in good company. Blessings.

I know I have help. Like you, all I have to do is ask but I try not to ask. There are things in my life that have happened to help me that would be impossible to attribute to coincidence or the results of human action. I never feel alone and I will never be abandoned, I will always have all the help I need.

Sometimes, when I think of all the success I've had in my life, I often wonder how I ever got them. Like passing an exam, getting a job, meeting somebody who'd eventually help me, or deciding on something that would avert pain on my part. Sometimes I feel like I just stumble into these things. Or maybe some unseen helpers pushing me to the right path.

My friend does this when she looks for parking space too! She says "Thank you God for giving my parking space. I know it's here somewhere, so thank you for giving it to me in a bit!" And not one minute later, she gets a parking space. Call it a way to pass time between searching and parking, but it really does help! It also makes her more grateful and relaxed for the day.
