Yup..there's something new all the time. I had my mothers bowling ball and didn't really want to throw it away. The lady that runs our campgrounds saw these in Florida this winter and I gave her my mother's bowling ball. I love my new bee which sets in my garden. Do you like new idea's to repurpose an object? This would be easy to do if you could find the bowling balls! They also have patterns for ladybugs!

This project is very clever and cute. Great way to recycle plus give the lawn an added look. I have a couple of old, retired bowling balls in our garage. Gives me an idea of what to do with them. Again I apologize for responding 5 months after you posted this discussion.

Hiya Jill, You are a one you know how do you dream up these things? I love the photo of the Bee I have left a little comment too. Like I was asking you did you do a Lady Bug one too and is there a photo that has made me laugh and I laugh every time I look at it how original. Much better than some pieces I have seen in an Art Gallery recently. All I can say is wow love it.xxx

Hiya Jill, No matter that is the kind of thing that makes everyone turn their Head to see what it is. It gets noticed because it´s original I like it whoever did it anyway. Did she make the Ladybug ones then or are they yours?

This is very Cute, and creative. Who would have ever thought of something like this? No wonder you are wishing you could find some more Bowling Balls for cheap. This is a Craft that could probably make someone a lot of Extra money as well. And Yes, it would be cute to see a Ladybug as well.

That is a really neat idea jillhill! Really! I love the picture you've displayed! My husband and I are bowlers and so is my mom.... or she used to be before she had a stroke. But it does give me a wonderful idea of what to do with all three bowling balls when my mom is no more and hubby and I decide not to bowl any more which will be a long time from now. Thanks for the idea!

I like it.. it's cute. You know I'm not crafty or artistic though.. and I don't have a lawn either.. but if ever I come across a bowling ball I don't want to part with, I'll think of you and this idea!

Very cute idea. I know we have two bowling ball bags with balls and shoes in them in some closet or other. Great way to recycle!

So she did that for you off an idea she had seen somewhere else? How cool is that?! Those would totally sell well in craft shops or craft fairs. I just love that one. It's an amazing way to recycle something you really wouldn't know what do with once you were done with it for its original purpose.

That is very silly, and I probably wouldn't have one, but the lady next door has a few bowling balls in her yard - I remember seeing a show on HGTV where this couple used bowling balls to line their walks and stuff - pretty cool!

That is a neat idea indeed! I've seen them reused instead of gazing balls for a garden ornament. I think I'd like to do that with the ball in our basement. However by chance do you know what type of paint was used?

It was krylon....I think. She showed me what she used but I was busy looking at the balls! LOL....

That is so very neat and a great way to repurpose! I would love to see the lady bug pattern as well. I think I will try to search for it on SwagBucks. Congrats on your new lawn ornament.

I think its cute. I want a ladybug one! Lol that is a good way to reuse bowling balls though. I remember the show on tv too. They had like hundreds of them everywhere. I wouldn't know what to do with all those bowling balls, but that's a good idea!

The gal that does them is having a hard time finding them! Hopefully she'll come up with some more....she makes very good money on them!
