The perfect sized dog

Hi, Sadie.....If you don't mind my asking (some girls do, ya know) what size are you? Other than 'just the perfect size'? 35 pounds? 50 pounds? My Teddy is about 35#. He likes to bound through the yard too. More like a gallop really. I'm sure you're perfect in more ways than that one too. Thanks for letting us know how you're doing. How are the rest of the zoo?

Sadie, you are perfect in every way! You and all your doggie relatives were created by God so that we would have an example of the perfect creature--loving, forgiving, the perfect brave protector and yet gentle enough to trust our babies with. I think that the perfect sized dog really does depend on the family that the dog is a part of. My Michela was a great dog and I really did love her dearly. However, when we moved into our house a couple years ago, it didn't take me long to realize that she was too big for our house. We now have Jasmine that is about 15 lbs and our new puppy, Chloe, who is about five pounds. I think that the bigger of the two is the perfect size for our family, but Chloe is still growing and I don't know how big she will get.

Hello Sadie, my names Miky and I too am a perfect size. Im a black Labrador and my mom likes to pet my head a lot when I sit and look out the patio door to keep an eye on MY property!! She bought a SUV so Id have my own space in the back with a nice blanket and my toys. I also sleep in the bed with my dad and I like to lay on the sofa next to mom and dad when they watch tv. I love to go for walks and then I can watch all over the neighborhood for rabbits or racoons or skunks and then I'll tell my dad where they are. I hate when dad has to go to work but its not so bad as I can stay with mom at home and keep an eye on her. What I like the most is when they give me a few treats to eat. I love the little piece of bread or carrots or broccoli. When I want a cookie, I'll follow mom around and then she says Im a very good boy and I get a cookie then. Right now Im looking out the window and watching dad because he's out there fixing the pool. I sure hope he'll come in soon because I dont like it when he's out there without me to watch over him. Im happy your mom and dad likes you also Sadie. I know you love them as much as I love my mom and dad too. Im sending you a picture of myself with my toys and you might not notice but my eyes are yellow, not brown and some people are afraid of me because Im all black with bit yellow eyes. But Im very gentle!! Woof Woof xx

Hmmm, Sadie, you're luckier than I am, you know? My Mom always says that I should be a little taller so that she doesn't need to bend to hold my collar. She doesn't say that when I cuddle in bed with her. Then she says: "move your long feet a little so that I fit into the bed, too". But when she talks with her Airedale lovers friends everybody says I have the right size for a girl. So I'm a little confused. Now I'm not tall enough, then I have too long feet. Who can understand those humans?!

It sounds to me that not only are you the right fit for your family but that you are exactly where you should be Sadie. I believe that people and animals come together for a reason and you have come to live with your mum and dad because you were destined to be the perfect puppy for them! Good on you Sadie!
