Redbox is ruining me!!! Now that I can rent movies for a dollar, I'm spending WAAAYYYY too much time watching movies!!! PLUS, I've learned how to utilize their online renting which means I can be sitting here myLotting & flip over to their site & reserve the movies I want to watch for the day. Then when I run out to their kiosk, all I have to do is swipe my card & my reserved movies are guaranteed to pop out!!! NO more wondering if the movie I want to see is going to be available!!! AND NO more wasted gas running around from location to location looking for the movie I want!!! So for today I watched... Beastly... I have been waiting & waiting to see this movie!!! It is an updated version of Beauty & the Beast. I had feared that it wouldn't be as good as my imagination had created; but I was pleasantly SURPRISED!!! First off...I MUST admit that I'm a hopeless romantic!!! The storyline starts out a little far fetched, but is quickly reeled in to become a WONDERFUL love story!!! I'm NOT going to put any spoilers here...ONLY to say I thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie!!! The Game... I rented this one simply because it starred Michael Douglas & Sean Penn!!! Neither of these actors EVER let me down with their performances!!! If you enjoy suspense thrillers, you will enjoy this one. It began a little slow, but I was soon sitting on the edge of my seat with my eyes glued to the screen!!! Once again...NO spoilers!!! What movies have you watched recently that you totally enjoyed & what was it that made you enjoy them so much???

I have seen that Redbox, but I have yet to try it. I once signed up for Netflix and it was pretty nice to have the movies sent to my house. I dropped them though because at the time I couldn't streamline anything to the TV and I felt like I wasn't using the membership to it's full advantage. The most recent movie that I have enjoyed is The Gangs of New York. It has Leonardo Decaprio in it. It also has the blond that played in There is Something about Mary in it but I can not for the life of me think of her name this second..LOL...ever had a moment like that? Anyway...it was a great movie...a little violent..but it was based on true events. Very interesting. I also took my daughter to the movies and watched the new Transformers over the weekend. I was a little disappointed with the 3-D..but it was a good movie nonetheless.

Wedont have redbox in my country.. i dont think? I have never heard of it but i love Jason Statham and one of his latest that come out earlier this year was called the mechanic, its rated r and a very fast paced action movie. I enjoy watching all his movies though, hes a great actor. I also have Gullivers travels to watch starring Jack black. Im not sure what it is rated, but it is a comedy i think is aimed at teenagers young adults so i couldn't imagine it would be rated higher than pg or m. I think his movies are great for a laugh. when your in a light hearted mood, like Jim Carey!

I wasn't just looking for Redbox movies!!! I seem to be going through a watching movies phase & was looking for some movies I've never seen. I don't limit myself to a particular genre & have an open mind as to what I'm willing to watch!!! I wasn't familiar with Jason Statham; so I looked him up. Yes, I recognize him from several movies I've watched in the past. Very fast paced action movies are not usually my top choice, but I do enjoy some of them...so I'll be checking this one out as I enjoyed the Charles Bronson version of The Mechanic & I've enjoyed Jason's previous work!!! If Redbox doesn't have it, I'm sure Netflix will!!! I've been waiting to hear some reviews on Jack Black in Gulliver's Travels. Over the years it has been my experience that the remakes of Gulliver's Travels are either real good or very bad. Most of Jack's movies are very juvenile, but I find by the end that I'm enjoying them!!! I watched him last night in School of Rock. A lot of it was silly, but he pulled it all together in the end & made it an enjoyable movie!!! Jack is very much like Jim Carrey in his early years!!! I'm finding that I'm enjoying Jim much more now that he "is funny" in place of "trying to be funny"!!! If Jack continues to follow in Jim's footsteps, he could eventually be a great comedian!!! THANK YOU for the references. I'll be checking on both of these movies!!!

I love watching movies. Watching movies can make the brain more refreshed after activity. I like superhero-themed movies. Like, Spiderman, Transformers, etc.
