"Seasoned" is a new term 
I am lucky that when I was new here there was a very old member who taught me the ropes, and told me off when I got things wrong too, but his methods worked 
Sadly he left but his lessons were passed on and I hope that some of the new users will do the same for those that come after them too. I think myLot is his now

In order to earn here, you have to participate in discussions. As you have already started a discussion, my advice to you is to come back and comment to those responses that other myLotters have posted here. Always keep checking back on the discussions that you have responded to or commented on to see if any new comments are being posted so that you can add in new comments to further the discussions.
Other ways to boost your income here on myLot is to upload photos, work on tasks and use the myLot search engines.
It is very important that you read the guidelines first to know what you can and cannot do here on myLot.

I think you are still trying to explore mylot. Well, you don't have to read a lot at FAQs, you will learn it anyway, soon. All you have to do it just respond to a discussion or maybe start a thread just like yours here. But you have to respond it in order to get paid. I see you still have 1 in your name, participate more and talk to members here by giving comments to discussion and you will be surprised how quick you will be earning. you don't have to read a lot at FAQs
I still think it is better to read the FAQs and guidelines yourself to get familiar with the site. Many may give you wrong information as they too don't read the guidelines themselves. I still check back on the guidelines when I am not sure about anything.
The main thing is to have fun on myLot.

There is nothing to be confused. You start any discussion you like under the proper heading, respond to other discussions started by fellow mylotters and always try to respond to feed backs you get as well as offer feed backs as many as possible.

hai friend welcome to mylot. I'm also new to this site but i kind of understand it, you simply search around for the discussion of your like and respond to it or start a new discussion as you did now. Uploading photos also reward you. There is task present which you can complete to earn money. Doing all these you can generate money and also have lot of fun. Happy lotting my friend.
